How inconvenient it is that you can neither edit nor delete old posts; isn't it, Sengun haters? Admins, please never delete this thread.
Sengun is not good enough on defense, and there's no denying that he need to improve his pnr defense. He shows improvements and he'll get there eventually.
Lol the top two most recently commented posts in the GARM are hate threads for two of our most promising players. Team Green vs Team Alpi
Correct. He made a few adjustments at the second half but better teams gonna exploit his P&R defense even more. Overall positive game from him and I’m sure as a high IQ player, he is aware of his weaknesses and gonna work harder and find ways to cover them.
No hate only love. Valid criticisms are totally fine but no need to hate your OWN player. We gotta learn how to appreciate what we have in our hands.
Still not enough 3 pters from sengun. U figured he would make one in a game where we went on fire from the 3 pt range.
Sengun is only a 2nd year player but he is a very good offensive center in this league. He does not play above the time or a shot blocker but he is now the 3rd or 4th best center in the Western Conference
It is not enough we need him to grow 4" s and have a ws of 7'5 " while increasing his weight/ height ratio and getting nearly %3-4 body fat and start running like gazelle.
Tanking in European sports doesn't happen because you would be relegated. Here you are promised the best up and coming talent of you tank. It's two completely different systems.
we had kelly onlynyk that wasnt good enough on defense and now hes sitin atop of the western conference.. a player that was silases excuse for sucking!
Hard to blame Sengun for all of the PnR buckets because he was often showing to stop the ball and had no rotational help on the backside. He, just like anyone, needs help either with the driver so he can focus on the roller or help on the backside so he can deter the driver enough for the primary defender to catch up.
Dont even need to wait that long, bump. Note the ones who like OP's inital post and OP, those are the ones who need to get prescription glasses.
Sengun is *by *far our most promising player. The lakers literally had no answer for him tonight and even as an incredibly young player he regularly dominates. As bad as we are we actually had an outside chance at winning tonight. Green made an incredibly silly mistake at the end that basically gave the game away.
The evidence is clear, the offense should run through Sengun. Green, KPJ, and Smith would also be much more efficient playing off Sengun.
No doubt! It's ridiculous when people try to say Jalen will be numero uno and other nonsense because he has had a few good games. Jalen isn't even close to being the best overall player right now. In Sengun's last 16 games he has only shot under 50% FG 3 times. He gets twice as many rebounds, more steals, more blocks, more assists, and less turnovers per game than Jalen. Jalen has scored under 50% FG in 12 of the last 16 games, and under 40% in 10 of them. He has a lot of work to do to improve in a lot of areas. Honestly, I wouldn't doubt Cam ends up being the best of those two in scoring efficiency, even if he doesn't get nearly as many minutes. He's shooting 53.8% FG and 37.5% from behind the arc so far.
