Here’s an in game block, while jumping forward with his head right below the bottom of the backboard. Do the math
This is what you don’t understand, you’re conflating max run up vertical with explosiveness. Alp probably doesn’t have a great no step vertical, while a lot of the guys that top out around 38 have amazing no steps. Alp is a one leg jumper, a lead up jumper where he’s actually solid. He’s not solid from flat foot and is average at best there.
You can literally search it, I’ve defended Green last year, I’ve defended KPJ at times, I’ve defended KJ, I’ve defended Jabari. Just because you have a singular hate for one of my hometown teams doesn’t mean we all do.
And you still haven’t answered my question. I’m trying to figure out what is elite to you. Is Donte Divincenzo athletic? Grayson Allen? Devin Booker?
I give up. Sengun is greatest player/athlete of all time. He has no flaws. I give up. Sengun is that greatest. Jokic with MJ athleticism
And this is also why it’s pointless to talk to you. MJ is literally the best athlete to ever play the game, not one person has ever said Alp is anywhere close to being elite or even good. Just that he’s not below average. That’s the problem with you, if you’re comparing Alp to Jordan or any number of players then you have no idea of what the entire league is.
The difference is that we don't pretend to b fans when we aren't. I don't like kpj as a pg, I think he lacks court vision and his ft/ppg needs to b upped if he wants to b a nontraditional pg. If he does that I'm okay with kpj as the pg. U and what seems to b kpj fans claim to support sengun but are already wanting to get rid of him. Just be straight up on your thoughts about a player instead of being pretentious bc I will call u out on it if I notice it. If u want him gone say so, don't b pretending to b a fan of player when u really arent.
I do want him gone or to the bench eventually. But I’ve said he deserves the opportunity to start the next year or 2 bc he’s young and talented. If I see that he can be a future 5, then I’ll say I was wrong. But I’m not gonna just say he’s something he’s not bc I like him.
They do need to improve on that, for sure, and it would help, but the PnR and switching means he needs to stop reaching. DD
In the euros he averaged 3.2 fouls per game on 30.8 minutes. Post all-star 3.2 fouls on 25.1 minutes. I don't know what your expectations are but these numbers are already not that terrible as you are talking about them. considering that he is improving on this end, it is only natural to expect that as he gets stronger and more experienced, this will not be a problem.
Yes to this. The Sengun is a foul machine was shown to be bullshit after he started getting starting minutes. Hell, there was no reason to bench him last year after he got 3 fouls. He needed the minutes why make him sit the bench for half the game because he had 3 fouls? It was just Silas appeasing Wood. If Sengun plays 30+ mins and fouls out, so what? We are re-building. If he is that important to be on the floor, than all the Sengun bashing is just bias, clear and simple. I’m a fan of all our top 10 players and also think Garuba needs a chance. We are still re-building guys. It’s ok to criticize players weaknesses, but to write off such young players is really stupid this early in a re-build.
