Just because they are shafting one great player doesn't mean they need to shaft another.

Scottie was the best all around player in the 90's of course you put him in. Lets not forget in 95 there were talks about him being MVP but Jordan came back and took the thunder from him. He was the key componet in those championships by the Bulls. A dangeous triple double threat. He set up Jordan a lot of time. Also one of the original point fowards in the league.

"PRO BASKETBALL; Disgusted Pippen Sits Down For Game-Winning Play
    By IRA BERKOW,
    Published: Saturday, May 14, 1994

Where was Scottie Pippen when the team needed him on the court in the waning seconds of Game 3? Why wasn't he on the court? Why was he having words with his coach? The score was tied, 102-102, after the Knicks' Patrick Ewing hit a three-foot hook shot. There was 1.8 seconds to go in the game in which the Knicks had staged another remarkable fourth-quarter comeback at Chicago Stadium. The Bulls, with possession of the ball and reeling because the Knicks had wiped out a 22-point deficit at the end of the third quarter, had called a timeout. The crowd of 18,676 fans was roaring, as only those Chicago fans can roar. Phil Jackson, the Bulls' coach, designed a play in which Pippen took the ball out of bands at midcourt and Toni Kukoc would take the last shot at the top of the circle.

According to Andrea Kramer, an ESPN reporter, who was beside the Bulls' bench at this time with a cameraman, quoted Pippen as issuing and expletive and then saying, "I'm tired of this." And Pippen then sat down. Some of the other players said, "Pip, come on, get up, what are you doing?" He refused to come back in the game. Since the Bulls only were sending four men on the court, Jackson had to call a second timeout. Jackson sent in Pete Myers in place of Pippen. Myers passed the ball to Kukoc, who bounced off his man, Anthony Mason, and then sank a 22-foot shot at the buzzer to give the Bulls a stunning 104-102 victory. It was the fourth time this season that Kukoc has made a long shot to win a game at the buzzer.

After the game, Jackson told reporters: "As far as the last play goes, Scottie Pippen was not involved in the play. He asked out of the play. That is all I'm going to say about it." In the locker room, Pippen said: "Phil and I kind of exchanged some words. That was pretty much it. It wasn't Phil taking me out of the game, we pretty much exchanged words and I took a seat. I think it was frustration. We really blew this game as much as we possibly could. We were able to pull off the win. Toni made another outstanding shot and it was a well-called play by Phil." As he got up to leave, Pippen added: "I wasn't doing anything, anyway. That's pretty much it." Pippen, who scored 25 points, was just 1 for 4 in the fourth period. Pippen and Kukoc have had a rivalry going back some three years, in which Jerry Krause, the Bulls' general manager, had pursued Kukoc, a Croat who had been one of the European League's finest players. The 6-foot-11-inch Kukoc was perceived as a kind of annoyance if not a threat. Because while Kukoc was being pursued, Pippen, who had been a Bulls' standout, was involved in sticky contract negotiations with Krause. When the Dream Team played Croatia in the Barcelona Olympics, Pippen and Michael Jordan, his running mate with the Bulls, seemed to focus on Pippen in their first game and stymied him, though he performed much better in his second appearance against the Dream Team.

Pippen has expressed dissatisfaction with Kukoc in some ways with the Bulls, and was known as giving him a difficult time in practice sessions. But some viewed that as simply the Bulls way, as learned from Jordan who gave many a difficult time in practice, including a younger Pippen, which was said to help steel him to the N.B.A. wars.

In recent days, Pippen has also said that he believes he deserves to be the highest-paid Bull. He is earning $3 million a year, with two years remaining on his contract. But Kukoc, who is earning an estimated $2 million-plus, has a clause in his contract that may allow him to go above $3 million.

Pippen said he didn't mind if Horace Grant, the Bulls' forward, was paid more than he did. Grant is an unrestricted free agent after this season -- but he didn't want Kukoc to be. Fan Problems This Season

Earlier in the season, Pippen also gave Bulls fans a nasty hand signal when they booed him. Later, he said he felt he was being booed because he is black. He apologized for his remarks the following day, saying he knew that some white players with the Bulls have been booed, too."

Snottie was never a leader. The Bulls were a great team, that played great defense. Snottie did not "carry" them anywhere...

Yep, he quit on his team at that moment, on that play...the same way Kobe quit on the Lakers in the 06 Playoffs when he refused to shoot for the entire second half of Game 7. Should he not be in the HOF as well, based on his play as of today?

As far as your comments, if leading your team in basically every stat over the course of a season isn't carrying your team, then I don't know what qualifies. It's also interesting to note you give the Bulls props for playing great defense, but no props to the one leading the defensive charge? Especially in 94, when MJ wasn't there....
