I'll try to take a page out of my own book from 2006. I said during the regular season that I wanted the Mavs to win as many games as possible to raise expectations & pressure and to make it that much more painful when they lost in the playoffs. In the big scheme of things, this game is meaningless other than to help guarantee Sergio won't be with the Kings next season (or maybe won't even finish the season). And Udoka really needs to kick himself hard tonight. Choooooke job.
Because the REPLAY only showed the moment Sergio felt down and Kobe hit the shot. Watch the footage with the whole sequence and you will see what I saw.
Did you read the end of my post? I caught the replay/footage that showed Kobe body checking him, like I said in my previous post that you apparently responded to without completely reading for some reason.
I dunno if you can call that a push off, it's not like he extended his hands, he kinda just ran into him.
Sorry it bothers you so much, but a bunch of us Rockets fans thought about it when Kobe risked his body that way. McGrady said that Kobe "is" where he was trying to get to. All-out hustling like that is just one of the areas he never quite made it. And nobody said McGrady was the only player who wouldn't hustle. He just happens to have played with the Rockets the last 5 years and Kobe is the point of comparison.
I find it amazing that people are surprised to find McGrady comments all over clutchfans.net. It will remain that way for a long time so I suggest getting used to it. Asking people to stop posting about McGrady won't change a thing. I suggest accepting or not frustrating yourselves by coming around here. You could always go here: www.nomcgradyhating.com
Alright I missed the last sentence of your post. My bad. I agree "push" is not an appropriate word as he didn't extent his arms. But he did bump Sergio off with his shoulder, no? And I know the refs are not gonna call that in the final seconds, particularly not on Kobe.

Sorry for being snappy. I was just surprised you didn't catch that part. He definitely threw his body into him. It's harder to spot than if someone extends their arms, even partially. Yea, I think that will rarely be called. You gotta man up and be prepared for that kind of contact. Maybe Sergio was trying to embellish it as well. Maybe the Kings should reconsider having Sergio Rodriguez on the court anywhere near Kobe Bryant on the last possession of a tight game.
No problem. I really didn't catch it. I think the bigger question would be whether Kobe stepped on the sideline, which I am really not certain about.
Did you ever watch Oscar Robertson or Wilt Chamberlain play? If not, how can you offer an opinion on who is the best of all-time? Maybe you should amend that to say he's the best you've ever seen?
For the life of me, I will NEVER understand why teams don't foul in that situation. Against Kobe fricken Bryant, no less. It's absolutely mind-boggling that teams are so reluctant to do this. Edit: the recap I read said they were up by three, nevermind -- however, I DID scream this very same thing last night against the Mavs whenever they basically had a point-blank chance to tie the game!
The team was up 2, not 3. With 2 players fouled out, you want Kobe to shoot FT and very likely pull an OT?
