Im with you, DD- lay off LP guys, until this is disproven or doesn't go down. What also makes this BBS what it is is the cutting humor and the self-policing cinicisim. So someone who doesnt frequent it could very easily mistake these attitudes as more negative than they really are. LP- just think of the comments like your buddies giving you a hard time.

It's July and there are 343 people online at 10:30pm expanding a thread that offers just a faint hope of Juwan's departure to six pages in an hour or so.

The man needs to leave Houston.

Old Man, I'm not flaming you. In fact when I read your post this morning I actually thought it was a very logical idea hence I did not say anything to the contrary on your original thread. But the idea of getting rid of JHo is indescribable that I just can't reason with myself that another NBA team would actually want him!

Wonder why LakersPride doesn't post this in LakersGround.Net? There is no mention of this JHo to Lakers anywhere in their forum.

How does Mihm's jump shot look these days? Where do his 10 point come from?

I never really liked his game at UT, but I was surprised how aggressive he played when I saw him last year. He threw down a couple dunks, which was surprising.

LakersPride, can you tell us something about the nature of your source? Not expecting you to drop the name or anything... but it is someone in the local media? Is it another website? Is it someone working with the Lakers or the Rockets?

Battier has played as PF before and every indication I get from management is that he will play pf for us. WHether or not he starts I don't know but why would they bring him in to play backup pf and back up sf. The only thing that makes sense is Battier is our starting PF. And don't tell me Tmac is moving to the SG spot. Some of this stuff you just got to use a little logic and common sense to figure out. Personally I think Battier is a big improvement over Howard. I know must of this board diagrees but it doesn't really matter what they or for that matter what I think. We will all see soon enough.

Time reveals all ... show LakersPride respect until he deserves otherwise.

He is putting his reputation here on the line. Let's see what he's got. But, no one should expect him to reveal his source, nor does he have to provide details beyond what he knows. If he's right, that's what makes this board so cool. If he's wrong, we'll also always remember, and he'll get ridiculed for making the post, and lose credibility in the future. But, until we know, we should be glad he had the guts to post.

I hope you are a new insider on the board, LakersPride ... hang in there. If you are legit ... many thanks!

    :)

Guys, what the hell are you trying to do, get the Lakers to back out of the proposed deal? LAY OFF THE "Juwan sucks" JOKES! YOU ARE NOT HELPING!

    LakerPride,

The Lakers would be getting a heck of a guy, a professional, and a guy who will bring that 'winning attitude' to a team that lacks it.

We as Rockets fans were blessed to have the future Hall-of-Famer Juwan Howard on our squad for two seasons. God knows that if it wasn't for Juwan, the Rockets wouldn't have taken that Dallas team to a seven game series, he was instrumental.

If he turns out to be right we'll all be eating crow. But the reality is that all sourceless rumors are taken with a grain of salt because they almost never come true.

Trust me, if Juwan Howard becomes a laker during the offseason LakersPride won't need a source....he'll be a source.

Relax. An LP is a vinyl record. LakersPride would translate into a bunch of lions by a lake. See how that works? ;)
