Lakerspride joined in December 2003 yet today is his first post ever !! This just goes to show how much we love our Rockets. We will believe in anything at this point. So Lakerspride I smell something fishy but if this is your idea of a joke then the jokes is on you because all you are seeing is a bunch of Rockets fans who want a winning team. Yeah that's me. I have no life so I start trade proposals. And then create rumors under alias to **** with you guys. Don't be stupid. Seriously read my post again it's all based on logic. The lakers have too many centers and too bigs that have no offensive game and Howard can bring that. They also have too many young bigs and Howard can give them experience. The Lakers are one of the few teams that could use Howard. It makes sense. The problem is what do they have that we might want. Mihm was the best we could get IMO. And Please, they are not giving us Odom. They would probably prefer to give us Cook but I don't really care for the guy so I was thinking we might insist on Mihm. Of course many on this board thought I was an idiot for suggesting that trade. But many don't get the value of a decent backup center. Look at the Battie's Cato's, Foyle's of the League, they are all overpaid and Mihm is not. So I see it as a good deal. Whether or not this guy is full of it or not I can't say. But again I think the Lakers are 1 of the few teams that could use him.

Who plays PF for us. I dont think Hayes is ready to start. Mihm is not a PF. Battier neve played as PF. We have 3M or less left in MLE if we sign both VSPAN and JL3, I dont see we can sign a starting PF with that Money. The 4.2M TE is also not enought to bring in a decent PF. We need a starting PF!
We almost have to treat these threads with disdain because otherwise the board would be riddled with bogus ESPN forum based trade rumors, especially now that the our BBS has gone public.
You guys are way off base bashing the guy. Like I said earlier, it's not like he's coming in here trying to draw attention by making up a ridiculous rumor (such as Tracy for AI) that he heard from a "source". Even if it doesn't go down, I'd still believe he has a source of some sort. We're talking about freakin' Juwan Howard here. Nobody makes up rumors about Juwan Howard just to get attention. If we get Mihm or whatever expiring contracts for him I'd take that anyday. We can go get a PF for the MLE, and cut out 3 more years of Juwan's salary (that I'm guessing only get higher).
But if he give up odom for Howard, Head, and filler from us, that means he trade saway Shaq for Kwame+Howard+Head+Filler. BTW, in the lakers land, they all know it's the Doctor calling shots not Kup.
