wow. 13 pages of posting already ( Especially from a rumour with no source). I guess I am guilty too from adding on to this thread. Frankly, I doubt it will happen. Hopefully it does though. We need a tough power forward to do the dirty job and cover YAO's back.
When Rudy joined the Lakers I joined Laker's ground to follow him. I just went to thier site tonight for the 1st time in over a year. What a found was an article by emplay that says Howard might not be a bad idea. But it was posted 8 hours after I posted my Mihm for Howard thread. Also Laker's pride stuff is posted over there along with my Howard trade post. They are copying stuff straight from this board and talking about now. Many don't want Howard and want more for Mihm. Some like it if Head is part of the deal. It's all just talk like here.
Look, we more or less know that Juwon's contract has been shopped all year. As some have pointed out, there is at least a decent argument for why the Lakers would do this. And please... threads about KG and LeBron and McGrady joining the Lakers should not be used to discredit a thread about Juwan Howard joining the Lakers. Apples and Oranges folks. The simple fact that there is a rumor about Juwan makes me look on it with a little more generosity than if it were, say, Yao or McGrady. Don't slam the guy... just wait and see what happens. After all, who on the Grizz board would have thought Gay and Swift for just Battier would go down?
I can view the posts but obviously not join in. After seeing some of their comments on this, I guess I really don't have anything to add. The Faker Fans seem to have the same thoughts people in Houston have on JHo. The vast majority of them don't seem to think this is a very viable trade.
For people who keep saying i want attention 'remember' i do not love this trade abit however i know its business and my source told me so i decided to post it. if a low life guy wanted attention it would be a trade involving Tracy McGrady or Yao Ming it is what it is its unfortunate people do not show respect these days.
I just hope that MKie isn't part of the trade as he is well past his best and is now approaching srub level.

LakersPride: Way to stand strong amidst all the haters... Assuming that this trade won't blow our minds (ie, getting Odom), I'm kinda on the fence on this one. I definitely don't hate Juwan as much as the majority of this board does. I like his steady mid-range jumper, but wouldn't mind getting out of the additional years on his contract. If he does go, then I think it's pretty obvious that the Rox won't be finished working on their PF spot.
Yeah, I just read where they quoted you from here. Haven't seen LakersPride stuff on there yet. It is interesting to see this rumor from both perspectives even though both perspectives are more similar than different.
Whether this deal goes down or not, can we please stop throwing odom's name out there. If this deal goes through there is no chance that odom is involved. It makes us look bad to even entertain the possiblity. Like we're these braindead fans with no concept of reality (then again that might be true is some respects).
If Head is included in the deal for Mihm, then Morey needs to be fired. I could live with Head/Howard for Mihm/Odom....but no way is giving up both Juwan and Luther worth getting Mihm. Although you did post a trade idea involving the Lakers and Juwan Howard, there may be some legitimate truth to LakerPride's rumor. Juwan Howard = Horace Grant in Phil Jackson's offense. Brian cook is just not getting it done as far as what Phil Jackson has ran in the past. With that being typed, I doubt Odom will be part of the deal (if it does indeed happen) FOR PRACTICAL PURPOSES.....in Phil Jackson's eyes.... Kobe = Jordan Odom = Pippen Juwan Howard = Horace Grant
I didn't mean to insinuate that LakerPride is not telling the truth. My instinct thinks he is and it's the same instinct that suggested the Mihm for Howard deal earlier this morning before anyone was talking about it.
If this deal does actually go down, Old Man should be the one praised for proposing this before it became a rumor spread by LakerPride. But I'm not staying up all night for this one. Maybe when I wake up in the morning the news will be good. Hell I just be happy to hear if we successfully signed Lucas and or VSpan.
