Yes so that will inflate their wins some. That's my point. Schedule will lose up, young players will carry some added experience to the second half and teams are going to care more about time management for the postseason.

While I’d like to see growth from all of our players this year, and think that should translate into a few more wins, I am fully committed to one more year in tank mode. And while making the play-in certainly would demonstrate progress, we just aren’t good enough to skip the last year of the foundational rebuild. We’ve got some young talent, but we need to add at least one more big cornerstone franchise draftee before we start focusing on making and competing in the playoffs.

This is probably about as bad as anything @CCorn posts which is quite the accomplishment

 

We only have a 14% Chance to get Wemby. Two years ago, everybody thought we were going to get Cade and last year we did not get the 1st pick and we had the worst record in the league. I WANT TO WIN and I want each individual to get better and the team as well. There is a lot of talent in this year NBA draft, not like the Cade/Jalen draft but its close. We should try to win and see what happens. It would be tempting to play in the play-in after the ASTROS won the World Series...Very tempting, should we take the bait...
