Pretty good odds on Giannis. He has it locked up, so should be much higher. Might throw down some cash.
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26444107/giannis-mvp-do-playoffs LOL Did they already have the MVP ceremony over at BSPN or what?
Giannis got 2 good games this year....and with his latest one, everyone riding his dckk. This league is so dumb. lol
Right? Nothing special about his season at all...only crap they have is 9 more wins in the east. How does wins even mean MOST VALUABLE PLAYER? You could sit everyone on the team and let Harden play 5 v 1 and barely make the playoffs and they would say, but have more wins, you barely made the playoffs. LOL
Giannis a stand up dude, best player outside of Jim, and plays in Milwaukee. I have zero gripes with him winning MVP. We all know this is a “let’s give it to a fresh face” award anyway. James won his MVP and has been in top 2 consistently. I’ll be mad if Harden doesn’t win because of the work he’s put in but I won’t hate on Giannis because of it.
Holy **** hahaha Giannis is a really really good player putting up really really good stats . What harden is doing in terms of creating offensive output is absurd
If Durant goes to the Knicks you can forget it. He'll win MVP and the sad part about it...the Knicks will be sitting around 4th or 5th in the east or something and they'll start ranting and raving about how he's carrying the team and his stats mean more than the wins.
That's what I was thinking. The Eastern Conference will probably be worse next season, the Bucks/Giannis will have similar wins/numbers, and they'll feel like it's "someone else's" turn -- even though what Harden is doing is historic, not manufactured and repeatable like what Westbrook is doing with triple doubles.
People around the NBA community are losing their collective s*** over Milwaukee’s win against Philly last night. As impressive as it was, it still pales in comparison to what Harden did to Golden State back in January. Perhaps these people need to be reminded of that? You know, since evidently this was an award-winning victory for Giannis.
Guys this is not like other years Gianis is pretty damn good, and his team is number 1 It’s fine let’s just win the championship this year
Harden doesn’t need an honor for me to like him any more or less than I already do. The championship should be the main goal for every team. The Rockets are at their peak this year and being so close is better than any individual accolade. Random thought: An east coast player (easer conference to pad stats and see on the first game on TV) is a lot easier to market (be the face of league) than a bar hopping, bearded kid from the wrong side of the tracks with alleged gang ties. First and foremost the NBA is a business. —> MVP = NBA. Not saying Harden is bad but most people that buy NBA tickets have a hard time relating to Harden the lifestyle.
