Pretty sure Derrick Rose has aspergers syndrome

People w Aspergers are actually quite brilliant. They are capable of processing enormous amounts of information, they just lack the ability to filter out information that less important. The overload of info makes it difficult to discern social and relational norms.

Anyway, I'm a licensed mental health professional. I don't see anything traits that indicate such a diagnosis.

 

I always thought Aspergers were long, skinny, green vegetables. That, or really smelly hamburgers.

Don't play amateur psychiatrist. That's my thought. Or if you do: look at the formal DSM-IV criteria. And then slap yourself.

I read an extensive article about Rose, and the reporter said that Rose was a very private person, and doesn't really like going out of his social circle. Is sometimes seen as rude to fans cause he isn't very willing to interact and sign autographs. I think he might be socially awkward but doesn't mean he has Aspergers.
