yeah i was enjoying this version of artest being on the bench. couldn't guard roy (and we kept putting him on roy when he was in the game) and was missing everything after the 1st quarter. and wafer was just rolling. lowry for brooks didn't make much difference, but i would have kept lowry in.

Battier guards Roy so much better. If it weren't for the refs he would have been completed locked down by Shane

the pick and roll is a staple in any offense. it doesn't matter if roy can score on those guys 1-on-1. the point is he'll continue to score using that pick and roll play. he would have scored more in game 1 if the game was closer.

The pressure is shifted back to Houston to hold home court. Blazers are 53% favorites to win the series now.

Predictions turn out to be jinxes on this board.

Okay, now Im not bash Aaron, but if we let Lowry play the last 4mins, we have good chance to get this win, also Im satisfied with this road trip, we need to win the next 2 home games.. Go, Rox

Coach, you suck!!!!!Couldn't you have some plan to pass the ball to yao??? You need to let somebody to double LA, or at least front him. And ron artest is not fast enough for guarding broy.....Our main problem is no one can pass the ball to yao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yao will leave rockets when his contract expires. believe me!!!! We need to play tough defense against broy. everybody need to read the defense and use your brain to play...... Come on!!!!We have 2 home games!!!Let beat blazers at home!!!GOGOGO!!

This is great, a simple front and Yao is neutralized. The Rocket's post season hopes rests soley on an erratic Artest and a bunch of role players. GRRrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeattttttttt

The offense wasn't the problem tonight. The injury to Deke and the BS fouls on Yao took away our interior defense. Tip your hat to the Blazers. Roy and Aldridge fought hard. The fact that we were still in it on the road says a lot for our team.

So people complaning about the best player on the team Not getting enough touches don't know about basketball?

Seriously your gameplan is to not go to your best player who happens to be your big man while 3 of Portlands big men are in foul trouble with 5 fouls.

Yeah that is a very smart gameplan. Portland big men has 5 fouls and you don't make them pay. BRILLIANT.

First off do not blame the officials for this lose. Yao sat on 4 fouls for the entire last quater while, Oden fouled out, Aldridge sat on 5 and Flopzilla was on 4.

There is why we lost this game.

    - 10 assists from 37/74 shooting.

    - 21 three point attempts at 33%.

    - 22/32 from the Free Throw line.

Now, Yao Ming won us game one, showing he can dominate Portland. He had 6 shoot attempts for the night, while Ray Allen, I mean Ron Artest had 20 shoot attempts shooting 1 of 9 from three. He had 2 assists and 2 free throw attempts, which indicates he settled for three point attempts, eventhough he was missing them. He also had 40 points dropped on him. So he dind't proved enough offensivly and didn't do **** defensivly.

Aaron Brooks is the most over-rated player from the Houston Rockets in history. He shoots the ball well, gets his points, but people ignore the crucial turnovers when the game is on the line. It is not what he does but when he does it. He is consistantly a liablity on defense and is terrible in the clutch. I am never confident with the ball in his hands.

Shane Battier had one shoot attempt. When we move the ball and properly utilise Yao, Battier gets more shoot attempts than that.

Portland made the proper adjustments, but that is no excuse. We knew they were going to try and get Aldridge involved and would front Yao. After two years of coach Yao Ming, Rick Adelman should have a way to counter that problem. The basic counter to fronting is spacing and ball movement. If there is no movement the other 4 defenders can focus on Yao, but if the players and ball keep moving around Yao the other defenders cannot afford to go to Yao.

The positive for this game was Von Wafer. He attacked the basket. PLAIN AND SIMPLE!

I am not confident our team can make the proper adjustments to counter any team that fronts Yao. I have also lsot all confidence in Brooks and Artest. We need McGrady back mentally and physically healthy and to upgrade the point guard spot.

I say start Lowry. This solves two problems.

You know why Brooks was so good after the game was already decided? He only has one thing to think about - shoot. Being a point guard is too much for him.

That move would be good both to AB and the team.

exactly, we played a not bad game in term of deal with fronting yao, we're really stay in the game.

what i don't understand, why we so panic after down 6, there are lot of time remaining, just panic!

Key points of this game, Roy is on fire! there is no doubt of that, but why we don't double team him? if you gonna lost, let their role player beat you!

Socla can't make the shots, if you just look at the stats, he played fine game, but it is him who can't make 2 in a row open mid-range shot cause us his close game.

Brooks!, Man, what can i say about him, for him , you hate and you love. He is perfect guy who can come off the bench to score, even he score team high tonight, but he is also the hugh factor why we lost.

Yao, when will you start to demand the ball, no matter how well the teammates would play because of you, you're leader of this team, 6 shots? that is just unaccpectable!

Yep, next game let's hope Artest is NOT hot to start the game, because he will go crazy and become a vacuum like he was in game 2. We need Ron to not shoot the ball well so he plays within the flow.
