Not yao so pathetic, is our ****ing game plan...oh let them fronting yao as much as they want, we'll let other shoots...we need beat the front defense, if They can take out our top scorer, we need to take out their top scorer, Roy just simply have 2 much for Ron... and for Yao just have 6 shot, 2-3 of them are just forced, I just can't see we would pass the first round of that...

If Coach A, can't beat the fxcking front defense, then...trade the useless centers...

Your name is really fitting. "Tmac does kill". He killed Mutombo.

But in all seriousness, I'm really saddened that this might be the last game Mutombo will ever play. If there was one guy in the league that deserved a swan song, it was Deke. He should have rode off into the sunset. It's a shame it had to end this way. Very similar to Mourning and Barkley. Both ended their careers on leg injuries.

yao needs to do better than having 6 FGs. Tonight both yao and scola are nonfactors. Wafer played pretty good attacking the basket when they are in foul trouble. Landry needs to do way better now that deke is out.

AB is not a team player. He only plays for his data. He is NOT a qualified PG. I can't help noticing that how many times he used meaningless time to rise his data. It is disgusting.

And another non-qualified hero is Mr.Ron Artest. I do appreciate and admire his efforts but somebody must tell him the brutal truth that he could never be the hero as Kobe of Jordan.

disagree; portland audience was visibly showing relief during the last second.. if this was the vaunted "rose garden" and blazers being so hot at home etc. then the blazers are in trouble when even when they come back to portland. were it not for FTs we mostly had this game (even with a well-fronted yao)

I hate to say this.. but Rockets took a step back when we traded Rafer..he was the one guy who knew how to get Yao the ball...Brooks, Artest, Battier..they don't know how to get Yao the ball consistently...it usually ends up as a broken play or a turnover.. That entry pass is a diffcult pass..especially with Blazer double teaming, coming from the weak side, and fronting..

I'm sure Yao is thinking about escaping from this team to somewhere there is someone who can pass the ball to him. When they are fronting Yao, why not take advantage of this to go inside and then pass the ball to Yao from inside?

Sadly I do agree this only in the playoffs. Lowry is getting there but Brooks...man he needs to suck it up and be focused.

How can Yao do better without touching the ball? Wafer got way more touches than Yao did.

This was Portlands BEST shot guys.

Aldridge went off, Roy went off, and they were actually playing defense.

This was their best shot, and we still almost beat them and our best players for the night were Wafer and Brooks...think about that...

I disagree with that. I think Lowry has potential to become better than Alston, but he is not used on the floor with Yao enough to show it.

I will say this. Last season team was much stronger than the squad playing right now.

    hi new here...

I see some of you guy blaming yao and i think you guys are a moron.

    Yao Ming's stat today..

11 pts shooting 50% with 5-5 ft plus 8 rebounds and zero turnover.

This is RA team and in his team everyone get to shoot and do whatever they wanted. There were so many chances they could of throw it to yao but they didn't. Today yao wasn't the first option.

The game actually boiled down to the following:

    1. The refs were the worst I have ever seen. Is it a coincidence that this officiating was bs after David Stern witnessed a blowout in the playoffs during the first game? After all, this game is about money first.

    2. Yao was not the focus of the offense from the get go. Wtf Adelman?

    3. Artest was being chewed up by Roy but Adelman kept Artest instead of Battier. By the time Battier was able to slow down Roy a bit it was too late as Roy had already established a rhythm. Wtf Adelman?

Now what do you do Adelman?

wafer is actually doing a decent job, if he didn't attack the basket, this game wouldn't even be close in the 4th quarter

My is harder than his for sure! This is his team and it's his call to take them where they want to go.

the turing point of this game is Ron kept trying irrational 3pt shots in the final 3mins, he is 1/8 behind the line, that really hurts
