OMFG the officiating was so fing bad. Joey Crawford needs to hang it up. Shane had a clean block on BRoy & Brooks did not foul the Blazer who tripped over his own feet. So many more other blown calls too.

Don't get me wrong, Portland (well mainly Roy & Aldridge) played well, but not good enough to win without a lot of the calls going their way. All of the missed free throws hurt too.

When they front Yao we should keep Wafer at the wing and let him drive base line every single time.

So sad but true. And some "fans" on this board are happy to label anyone who advocates getting Yao involved on the offensive end a 'Yao-only fan'. Maybe we just want to see the ball in the hands of the most efficient offensive player on the team? Yao doesn't have to shoot it or get points. He can pass it out for the open three or a cutting wing as well you know.

that can happen quite often if teams focus on stopping him. for yao to be a real superstar, he or the team needs to find a way to make him effective regardless of any defense

Reasons we lost ref are bailing out Roy when Shane played great defense on him. Can't missed that many freethrows and expect a win.

Also, Yao had 0 TOs. When Portland's bigs were fouling liek crazy we didn't get him the ball even though he was sealing off his guy and begging for the ball! He did this multiple times...I would rather have Yao one-on-one shooting from 10 feet away than see Artest jack **** up.

The officiating was consistant. Stop b****ing about the dam referees. When we win or gets favoured by the officials I don't here complaining. Get ****ed blaming the ref.

I don't care if you are positive or negative, blaming officials is a poor excuse.

i also blame coach RA, he is the biggest factor that we lost this game. we DO had good chance to win this game but he just did not adjust anything but let Ron jacking up. Brooks can not be put at the end of the game. NEVER!!!! instead of shooting, Brooks is GARBAGE.

Sorry guys, we are going to need another win in Portland, we will split
    the next 2 in Houston.

I have consulted the crystal ball on this one - and it was conclusive.

    Coming back to Portland 2-2.

They don't need to make him effective. They only need to look at him once in every 5 possessions, they would have easily won this game.

Tough loss to swallow. Deke goes down and we lose a nail biter.

    Some thoughts:

    - The rockets again refused to feed Yao in the 4th. Big mistake.

    - Von Wafer should of played more minutes. Artest is an idiot.

    - Scola needs to work on free throws.

    - AB should not be playing in the 4th. Lowry is much more stable.

All in all, I'm proud of the Rockets hanging tough. We just need to execute better and take this series!
