First thing Charley Rosen has ever said that I agree with:

Do you have any idea why the Rockets will not play Bonzi Wells? — Bob Potter, Monroe, LA

Because he came into training camp out of shape, injured himself, and (for the same original reason) is slow to recover. And because he's arrogant, selfish, totally out of control, doesn't work and play well with others, and doesn't buy into any concept that doesn't have him on the court for 40-plus minutes while giving him license to take 20-plus shots. In other words, whatever cohesion and harmony (on and off the court) the Rockets have developed so far will be instantly destroyed as soon as Wells suits up.

Yes, it is ALWAYS the fault of JVG. Bonzi at least 20 pounds overweight - JVG's fault. Bonzi injures his groin and can't work out - JVG's fault. Bonzi has a root canal and won't practice - JVG's fault. Bonzi twice cites "personal problems and leaves the team - JVG's fault. The JVG haters rage is so strong they don't even know when to stop!

I am not so sure about that, the Kings and Bulls did it for Artest and Rodman.

It seems like we have done several trades with Memphis in the last 2 years, if Gasol comes back and they are trying to make a run to the playoffs, maybe we can do something with them.

In the first place I don 't want to trade Bonzi, because I still believe he can play well in this squad! But if the Rockets should trade ... I hope we could get Gerald Wallace! The Bobcats were interested in Bonzi during the offseason, so why not?

Bonzi + Sura (+2nd round pick, if necessary) for Gerald Wallace :D

i dont buy that. this isnt a team of a bunch of hotheads or immature babies (save bonzi). Bonzi can piss and moan all he wants but tmac/yao/rafer/deke/howard/chuck/battier/etc are all professionals and will come to play.

    where would bonzi go?

if we trade him, where would he go? which teams needs him? I would love to package him with sura and howard but that seems far fetch. Please God lets not cut him and see him sign with denver. I had a dream that we traded the 3 of them plus a first round pick to ny for lee crawford and .........jerome james. What you guys think? I is it worth it? Were in a win now mode. Lee would fit in right away and form a great pf combo with hayes. Crawford would become our 3rd scoring option from the bench and do what wells was supossed to do. And james? Backup center when deke retires thou a expensive one and useless. Giving up a first rounder sucks but i think its worth it.

Ny might do this to get rid of james contract since curry is doing well. Give francis more playing time at the 2. Get additional first round pick which thomas seems to be good in drafting. Save money?

I think New York is pretty high on Lee, lets not get ahead of ourselves just yet I am pretty sure you can't make a deal with a recently signed free agent till atleast half of the season has passed.

BTW, Props to JVG for not playing this punk!

Bonzi, you are one dumbass fool who is costing yourself future earnings daily.

    BONZI WELLS FOR STEVE FRANCIS!
obviously steve francis has no value in NY. His playing time has decreased, production has decreased, and he isn't happy himself. He would fit our two guard spot PERFECTLY.

    .. yeah i bit of a stretch.. i know

How about a 3 team trade. Not sure if salaries work, but I think they do.

Bonzi+Alston to Miami. They want another PG and had interest in Bonzi before.
Posey to Minnesota. His contract is up, could be a salary dump (James contract).
Mike James to Houston. Reasons are obvious.

Might need to tweak that a bit, but you get the idea.

Can the Rockets afford three max players? I don't think so.

I love this. Do it. Yesterday. Now if they actually intend to keep Wells, then that is my preference. Otherwise, I love this deal.
