Sengun will be a ALL STAR soon, he is a 20 and 10 guy if Silas let him play and Porter pass him the ball. Not many centers are better than him right now and this is his 2nd year, and he has to fight Silas and Porter every game to shoot the ball. Name the Centers in the NBA who is better than him:

Christian Wood...seriously? National Media, NBA fans, pundits Two-time MVP Center and our on Jalen Green think Sengun should play more and the offense should go thru him
    Wendell Carter Jr....nope
    Jusuf Nurkic...too slow
    Jacob Poeltl...Sengun owns him

Nikola Vucevic...no way you remember last year Sengun's highlights when we played them
    Clint Capela....come on

National Media, NBA fans, pundits Two-time MVP Center and our on Jalen Green think Sengun should play more and the offense should go thru him except....

They can work together and have appeared pretty cohesive together in the pick & roll - the issue is the number of possessions consumed by both KPJ & Green leaving few possessions for Sengun with the starting 5.

You run Sengun with the 2nd unit and he doesn't have to compete with both of them for possessions
Again for those who weren't understanding:

    Sengun
    KMJ
    Tari
    Green
    Nix

There's a lot more possessions for Sengun in that lineup.

Taht is starting five if you replace nix with a guard with size and defense. If only kpj did not use a lot of possessions and played defense that would be ideal in house solution.

I want to break a lance for Clint, it's not easy to develop a 20 ish pick and turn him into a good player.

Agreed that Sengun needs more possessions. However you don’t bring your best player off the bench because lesser players are using too many possessions in the starting lineup. Either change the way those lesser players play, or bring them off the bench instead.

If Alpie keeps playing defense like he did today in the clutch, his ceiling is the roof. I thought he should've stayed in for defensive purposes over Fernando, because he ALWAYS boxes out--him and Garuba are very disciplined with that.

Tonight was a perfect example (IMO) of what this team can be and how the pieces fit.

First half - Guard play was atrocious and the only consistent offense we had was Alpi (pretty much kept us close) with help from Jabari.

Second half - Guards woke up and pulled the game out for us. Jalen exploding in the 3rd, KPJ PNR with Bruno, and an actual defensive strategy with traps on Booker.

    We have the pieces...

But do we have the coach? Honestly, we just lack experience. Young kids are going to make a lot of mistakes

BTW I voted - Integral starter on a contender. Alpi has the tools to be the hub of an offense and compliment other players with his passing and unselfishness.
