At his peak, where do you *realistically* see Al-P ending up?

Al-P's defense will always be a big concern.

Not sure he can be Batman, but I think he can be a Robin on a contender.
I’ve said this since before we drafted him, he reminds me of Pau, with better passing and less of a shot.

Alpi runs the court like QWOP man -- not sure how a player so slow can become a star.

Probably between Luis Scola and a poor man's Jokic.... which is still pretty good.

And people act like forcing him to ride the bench when he doesn't deserve to, not playing the minutes he should, not getting the touches he should, AiNt A bIG dEaL wErE mEaNt To LoSe!!!

No. This is what happens. Players stop trying.

The best player on a sucky sucky team or integral starter on a contender, both of those scenarios could be Houston now and Houston when we get Wemby! That's lottery pick worthy.
Things to improve: outside shot and some muscle definition.

That clip, that's not like him. He should have corralled the rebound. Him and Smith Jr. battle each other for those lose balls. It's cool to see.

Ceiling? Always hard to answer these questions, but a less athletic Chris Webber, if put in a very different offensive system.

    Marc Gasol.

Until he hits 3's better he is capped as half the player Jokic is.

Jokics ability to nail 3's spreads the offensive end of the court.

The Jokic, Embiid, KAT types win MVP's but fall short
in the playoffs with their inability to contest the 3 proper like.

    Sengun vs Warriors
    11/07/21: 12 points
    1/21/22: 5 points
    1/31/22: 2 points
    11/20/22: 4 points

He has to prove it to me that he can take it to the Warriors, not only in the regular season but in the playoffs when it counts.

I think they will always be too fast, athletic, quick
    for our guy.

Your scenario frame the main reason why I asked the question. If we got Wemby, he would be the defacto starter at center. Al-P would have to run the bench squad. I look at Jokic and Luka, or Harden before them and Paolo after...these guys are always going to be liabilities defensively. No matter how hard they try. Their size gives them unique advantages *offensively* but it does the opposite defensively. It makes them slow laterally.

I really like Al-P and think he's our best offensive distributor. I just know what the likes of Morant and Curry will do to him when the games really matter. If that's the reality, what is is his role when fully realized? Most people seem to be voting starter on a contender but I'm not so sure. And if the reality is that Sengun isn't starter level on a contender then KPj simply can't exist on one.

I think Wemby and Alp pair very well. The league is moving away from small ball, with Wemby perimeter prowess on offense and weak side capability on defense they fit perfectly.
Jabari would slide to 3, if he continues to develop.
Even if they did decide to use Alp as a 6th man, he would bring value and could be the big version of Manu

I put integral starter but that all depends on him being a good defender. Defense just matters more for Cs than for other positions. If he continues to be meh, with bouts of bad effort, then he'll never reach that ceiling.
