He straight up waived the individual mandate penalty and non-compliant plan penalties beyond the stated dates explicitly stated in the law for when they were to go into effect.

The danger of that logic goes far beyond ACA.

I'm fuzzy on these things. I thought the HHS do have some power to waives certain things. The individual mandate wasn't one of that, but wasn't congress the one that passed a bill to extend it? Also, can't it be argue that waiver for "smooth" implementation is very different from enforcement. It's a delay to get the program right, not an intent to permanently not enforce. It seems quite sensible that you don't enforce something that causes more issues when implementation is not yet ready, if you meant to allow time for them to settle and then start enforcement.

And that is the whole issue I stated above. If the Republicans actually did something, I could be upset at them more often. It gets tiresome of each side blaming each other. Its obvious what is going to happen. The Republicans will get blamed for the failure of Obamacare regardless of what happens, even if they do exactly what the left wants. The truth remains the Democrats had no solution on how to fix Obamacare either.

If they tried single-payer or anything close and it fails, this "liberal" (hate being box in to any thing, but ok) here isn't going to blame them a single bit.

LOL, you make ACA sound like Iraq. But at least lives were saved, unlike that other quagmire.

It's nothing like Iraq, it's a lot more expensive than that.
