Kenny Smith turned Landry and Lowry into the mutant beast named "Lowndry".

Kobe seems to be the only superstar that actually is a pitbull.

I'm not liking the amount of media recognition that we are getting as being tough and stuff. In addition to this, the stuff that happened in the game today they are going to call the series even tougher and that is not going to go well for us.

Kenny is right about the 6 pit bulls (but i am not sure about Landry...he's not quite there defensively yet).

However, i will say Tmac is NOT a PIT BULL for sure..that's why we need to trade him.

    I was just joking around.

Landry and Lowry are always mismatched when the TNT guys talk about the Rockets. Usually, it's Carl Lowry or Kyle Landry but tonight Kenny said that Lowndry was a pit bull.

Is it just me or are the TNT guys giving the Rockets a little more credit.

trust me, he would have done something tonight. regardless of what you say about the guy, he would have done something tonight. he's been ejected in his career fighting, punching guys, kicking balls to the stands...

however, we need yao and shane to do SOMETHING physical.

It is amazing what a trip to May basketball will do to a team's rep... (I can't wait to see what June basketball does for the Rockets...) :D

Take off teh homer glasses, he would have started a fight, but he would have nothing else. He doesn't respond physically because he doesn't play phsically.

nah, I think they are right and finally realized that this rockets deserves more credit than it has been given.

This is a statement series. Lakers are the best in the west and if any team that can beat them it could mean championship.

Why People think both rockets and portland would give the lakers the biggest run for their money?

    1. portland got a lesser version of kobe in Roy, and lesser defense pressure to counter the front line of the Lakers.

    2. Rox got the better defense and kobe stopper in shane and Ron. we got the interior pressure of Yao. (we just lacked any player in Kobe's mode)

We have Kenny and Charles on our side now. They see how hard we play and how cheap the Fakers play. I feel the reputation of our team is starting to gain RESPECT!

Um. It's sad that you can find a way to hate on T-Mac in this thread. And. . that isn't really true:

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SMxw9rSnfGE&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SMxw9rSnfGE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Not to mention him fighting with Bobby Jackson, getting ejected against Kenyon Martin, and being clutch for us. Seriously you all need to hate the other team, not your own players.

About what Kenny and Charles said, this might be the first time I agree 100% with what they have said. We've gone from one of the softest teams in the league to one of the toughest, and I don't think we've crossed the line into being dirty like many accuse Boston of doing.

I honestly believe this game, along with the Wafer incident will help bring the team closer together. Adelman is not the type of guy to hold a grudge like Van Gundy, it is nice to see such passion for winning. Wafer was an idiot for saying something, though.

In the court of public opinion, the Rockets are the clear victor tonight.

The Lakers just lost a whole crap-ton of good will and empathy for their side tonight.

Prepare to live the rest of the series under the microscope, Laker thugs.

This was after showing the highlights of the physical rockets game and they showed rafer slapping house on the head and that altercation. I just could not stop laughing.

    charles was great last night

glad to see the rockets get some credit despite the loss this seemed like one of those "moral" victories chuck was talking about (in re:game 1 for boston/orlando)

chuck: i dont know what the lakers are thinking when it comes to people you want to fight Ron Artest isnt on top of that list.

Ron Artest can play with Charles Wade Barkley any day.

bringing what kobe did/does and the lakers do into the national media spotlight the way Ron did will force the general public and media's hand to address it the way Kenny and Chuck did last night
