He wants to start. He isn't coming here.

If he wasn't starting in Arizona, he is not going to start anywhere. He did not demand a trade even though he was pissed because he knew Arizona was the best chance he had to start.

    I feel the same way

Whisenhunt has some non-football issues with him.

There's no way Derek Anderson should have won the starting job.

I think Leinart will end up in either Buffalo or San Fran.

Yup. I think Carroll will want his old QB, thinking he can make something of him, and Leinart will want to play for his old coach, thinking he can recapture some of his Heisman form. Who knows? Might actually work.

Leinart had like 13 snaps and completed most of them. He checked down a lot though..

Anderson had 3 td's, 10 picks last season with a completion rate of 44 %.

I'm talking in the preseason, Lienart was ****ing terrible. Anderson outplayed him, simple as that. I don't care about previous seasons, we are talking about right now. If you want to bring up previous seasons, notice that Anderson threw for 29 TDs just 2 years ago.

Yeah, he didn't really make any mistakes (I wouldn't say he was terrible) but that's because he took absolutely no chances and wouldn't throw downfield.

Peter King says Matt Leinart to Seattle or Houston. Leinart officially released today.

Will the Texans pick up Houshmondzada since he's gonna be released? Andre and him would be AWESOME!!!!

no, he is old, has always been overrated, and the Texans already have probably the best group of receivers in the AFC if not the NFL.

Hypothetical...would you take Houshmandzadeh if it meant we trady Jacoby to the Skins for Haynesworth?

We'd still have a very solid receiving corp along with the addition of Big Al on the dline.

I really don't think we can get big al for jacoby. If we could, should we bite?

Maybe not, but Jacoby is rounding out to be a very solid receiver. His hands have improved a lot and his route running is definitely getting better. I think, after this season, he will be a highly sought after receiver. The kid has skills.

If that was the case, sure, but I think that is very unlikely

If Johnson was on the roster for the first week of the season, the team would owe him his entire salary for the year. So they worked out a settlement in hopes he can get healthy later on. It would be more of a risk money wise for the Texans, if he made the squad and didn't get healthy.
