The Texans should of cut him as soon as they signed Rackers and put him out of his misery and let him sign on with someone else.

I think they are in the lookout for another running back, 4th defensive end, 4th defensive tackle, reserve left or right tackle, and possible veteran cornerback.
Did you count 53 on the roster I posted or did you go through the roster yourself and figure it out? I counted my roster which = 52 including Polk and Cushing. Probably screwed up somewhere along the way(might of missed a name when putting the roster together or miscounted)
I keep seeing that JJohnson will be on the practice squad, why just not keep him on the active roster instead of going for another RB? Edit - just saw the list, ignore the above.

Well with Slaton injured and Henry cut, you only have two healthy backs in Foster and Ward. I doubt anybody is going claim Johnson off waivers with him injured for at least a month. If a team claims him, they would have to guarantee his salary for the year. They need the roster spot and didn't want to keep Johnson on the roster while he was hurt.

There are 52 players on the roster you listed. I'm counting DeMeco even though he's not listed. Also counting Cushing, but not counting Polk since rikesh says he was cut. So if there are 52 right now, then the Texans can add two more players without going over -- one to get to 53 and one for Cushing's roster exemption.
