    Where did Brown miss from?

Good luck to Brown. I guess that's it for the original Texans.

56 yards but not why I saw it coming, just the way they used the kicking rotations during the game and post-game presser. They hard a perfect oppurtunity early on when they had a 4th and 1 but chose to go for it.

Now that Brown is gone, Andre Johnson is the only Texan remaining from the Dom Capers era. :p

Would love this signing if he's in shape. If we sign him we would have a running back depth of Jeremiah Johnson/Arian Foster/Slaton/Ward, not bad.

Sorry to see Kris Brown go. My mom does a ton of volunteering at Texas Childrens' Hospital, and Kris Brown has always been incredibly involved with them. Moreso than any other athlete. Hope he winds up on another team.

Good news. Hopefully they cut Andre Davis as well. Reeves was going to make $3 million dollars this year to be the 4th or 5th CB. Davis is going to make a little more to be the 5th WR if he happens to make the team.

Patrick Ramsey just got cut by the Saints. I always liked Ramsey as a solid backup QB. Nothing special but could he be reliable. He had a solid preseason with the Saints but they decided to keep Chase Daniel and Sean Canfield. Ramsey spent 2 years as a backup in Denver so he knows this system pretty well. He wouldn't cost more than league minimum.

Nice. Getting rid of all the dead weight :)

New days are ahead for our beloved franchise.

I agree. The "dead weight" still on the roster is Andre Davis. I really hope they cut him. I guess you can count Dan Orlovsky as dead weight too but I think it's unlikely they cut him.

If I'm not mistaken, we brought him in for a visit two years ago when we ultimately signed Orlovsky. I'd be all for it.

Minor quibble from a Mizzou homer, but the Saints already cut Canfield. It's all about Chase. :)

Also, on Ramsey, the Texans did try and sign him a year ago in March before settling for Orlovsky. So the staff did have interest at some point.
