I highly doubt it. He's overall better than Brown, and makes the same ST plays (people seem to forget that Rackers made an even better open field tackle in the Cowboys game before Brown did). Anyway, Dorin Dickerson is the truth. He may or may not break out this year, but I expect great things from him very soon. He has a great skill set and I'm surprised he lasted until the seventh round. Steal of the draft? We'll see, but it's looking likely. You have AJ, Walter, Jones, Dickerson, Davis, and Anderson along with the TEs (Daniels, Casey, and Graham), and the Texans have a ton of weapons. If only Tate hadn't gotten injured. Our running back group would be pretty strong.
Looking somewhat weak right now. No Tate, no Slaton(not sure how long he's out), and now no Johnson. So what has gone to arguably a position of strength, looks like they may have to hit the waiver wire.
Rackers stays Brown is gone. If Kubiak gives Brown the job and he fails the fans and media will have a "I told you so, you are to loyal" fit, if Rackers gets the job and fails Kubiak won't nearly receive as much heat.
Slaton will be back for the season opener. Johnson has a dislocated toe, and those things take anywhere from three to six weeks to heal. As long as Foster stays healthy, we'll be good. Slaton can come in on third down and passing plays, and Chris Henry looks like a Ron Dayne-lite.
I think Henry looks like complete crap, no way he makes it imo. I would grap a vet to help for the first part of the season. Someone like Correll Buckhalter who could be cut might be able to help a bit
Thing is you have to be worried about wearing down Foster, Slaton and Foster should get equal touches IMO. It will make the defense prepare for two different backs. Texans just need to make sure they use Slaton correctly, i pull my hair out everytime I see Slaton try to run up the middle...never works.
sorry, but I don't see it. No way is he the #2 RB choice, but he had some fine runs. Still, I would understand seeing who is out there. . .
Time will tell whether he is a steal, but he won't be proving it this year. You can tell he is still somewhat of a project. He had several drops last night. Like Jacoby, he won't see meaningful playing time until he holds onto the darn ball.
Yep, I saw this coming a mile away after last night. Also, Ward coming in makes sense with Slaton and JJohnson injuried, to bad they didn't cut Graham who would have been a perfect fb/goalline back.
