Is that Love/Hate thing supposed to be informative in regards to current happenings? It caps off saying he has love/hate observations after watching a Texans/Saints workout. Then follows with nothing but facts from the previous season, and what the depth chart currently is. His only judgments are that the O-line, Wilson, and Pollard are "just OK." What is that supposed to mean?
I dug up the Justice article in case anyone wants to read it: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/7119049.html He seems like a good guy, I hope he can make it back in the league.
hope the guy sticks to someone's team. He had all pro written all over him. It was a shame he had that injury. Both for himself and the texans.
guard would seem like a better fit for him now. But i think the worry is whether he can play, period.
No, before the game. It could have been during practice or maybe in the Arizona game, I can't remember.

Good news concerning Owen Daniels. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/08/24/texans-owen-daniels-gets-good-injury-news/
Page doesn't exist. In other Texans news, they released DE James Wyche and signed WR Derrick Townsel.
I think it's just a ploy to be able to stash him on IR. I'm sure he's had SOME recurring thumb issue, but probably nothing that requires surgery. They just know he's not gonna be able to contribute this season, so they want to stop wasting time and a roster spot.
CBS released its announcer pairings for 2010 as well as the assignments for the first three weeks of the regular season. For the season opener against the Colts, CBS will have Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf call the action from Reliant Stadium. In week two when the Texans travel to Washington it will be Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts in the broadcast booth. Week three is a Fox game. I'm expecting either Joe Buck/Troy Aikman or Kenny Albert/Daryl Johnston to call the Cowboys/Texans game. Here are the CBS announcer pairings: Jim Nantz//Phil Simms Greg Gumbel//Dan Dierdorf Ian Eagle//Dan Fouts Kevin Harlan//Solomon Wilcots Gus Johnson//Steve Tasker Bill Macatee//Rich Gannon Don Criqui//Steve Beuerlein Spero Dedes//Randy Cross http://sportsmedianews.com/08/nfl-on-cbs-announces-broadcast-pairings-for-2010-season/ Btw, with Jim Nantz calling golf this weekend, the CBS announcers will be Gus Johnson and Phil Simms for the preseason matchup against the Cowboys on Saturday.
