more or less i'm just teasing you because it's ridiculous to say houston has no nightlife season without this one place...especially a place who gets horrible reviews and is known to discriminate.
There arent many true nightclubs in Houston...the ones in downtown are absolute trash. Eight and Nox are really the only ones that are on some level, close to what you'll find in the other cities I mentioned. Nox does discriminate...but they always take the money if its there, just like any major club in Vegas, LA, etc... Also, more hot girls go to Nox than pretty much any place in Houston. Yes, there is obviously nightlife in Houston...but its mostly comprised of bars...not the kind of nightlife you see in party cities like Miami, LA, or Vegas. Red Room is not a nightclub, but its expensive enough to reel in hot girls...which gives it an edge. So really, its Red Room, Eight, and Nox as the 3 places in Houston that can attract women on par with the other major cities. And go Texans!
I feel like a stranger in my own times....I'm 28 and these places don't appeal to me what so ever. Kudos to you though rezdawg and don't spend all your money on those girls other than that....
If the JAGs are relocated to LA, which I doubt, it would make sense to bring in the chiefs. And just because I want competive balance across every division, I would move Indy to to East with the patriots were they belong, and take in Miami. New division: Texans Titans Dolphins Chiefs
Texans, Jackson begin negotiations http://www.foxsportshouston.com/07/...tions/landing.html?blockID=275758&feedID=3716
dez bryant > kareem jackson yeah we needed secondary help, but damn, you dont turn down the best reciever in the draft at #17 just to get "need" let walter walk and draft dez, thats what i would have done. then go with cb in 2nd,3rd....dont need tate. and oh yeah , the biggest thing by far , which is very sad wasnt done, is fire kubes and hire the spitting coach. oh well, i guess the owner didnt want to fire an aggie or goto a 3-4 Defense. all the best D's are 3/4 not 4/3. It confuses Manning and every qb, unlike the vanilla 4/3 man to man the texans play ravens, steelers, saints, jets, cowboys run 3/4 and will be tops every year mostly , while teams like the texans need to stockpile a probowler at every position on D just to be average because the system sucks
this offseason was the best time to get Bill Cowher. Damn. imagine Cushing in a 3/4 with green light to blitz whenever he wants.
Wrote this on the Texans MB but: Looks like McClain may be somewhat confirming this. http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2010/07/its_going_to_be_a_fun_ride_wat.html http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pl...news.asp?sport=NFL&id=1575&line=175995&spln=1
Yup. It's Friday. First practice is 8 - 10am. Individual game tickets also go on sale on Friday. I'm expecting Owen Daniels and Anthony Hill to start training camp on the PUP list. Daniels is doing well with rehab so he'll probably be taken off PUP during the preseason. I haven't heard much about Hill and how his rehab is going. I've got a feeling that it's not good and he may remain on the PUP list going into the start of the regular season. The Texans may put him on IR after six games if he doesn't get healthy. During OTAs I noticed Matt Schaub was wearing the new helmet style. They seem to be popular these days. I'm guessing he'll continue to wear the new helmet during training camp and throughout the season.
Yes, that's the one. Several Texans' players wore it last season (Winston, Ryans, etc.). I imagine it's a bit safer than the older style.
i always wanted to see a breakdown of the helmet. I get the air vents...it should certainly help shaub when he's running as fast as he does ...but that ridge is more unclear. I'm guessing it's like that to allow better air flow anyways, I never looked up detail on the new helmets before. I thought it was just a new shell but after a google search, it's a whole new system. Kind of neat. http://www.xenith.com/football/innovation/
