Lendale White was cut by the Seahawks. Should the Texans be interested?

 

He was released because he is facing a 4 game drug suspension. Texans won't touch him with a 10 foot pole.

 

Not to mention that he sucks.

 

Must be so if he can't beat out Forsett or Julius Jones.

 

And the fact that his college coach released him a couple weeks after trading for him.

 

I read that the seahawks cut him because he showed no work ethic, and didnt want to do anything to change that.

 

Well, when you're unmotivated, it's hard to be motivated no to be unmotivated.

 

He's lost something like 20 pounds since the season ended. I thought his work ethic would've been high.

 

Another USC guy gets suspended..I'm guessing Clay Mathews is next

I say give him a shot to make the team.

Why not?

 

Cause he is not that good. He never averaged more than 4 yard per carry in a season in the NFL behind some very good Titans offensive lines. He doesn't place special teams. His college coach let him go after trading for him which tells you a lot. He is facing a 4 game suspension. Between Steve Slaton, Arian Foster, Ben Tate, Jeremiah Johnson, and Ryan Moats the Texans will have enough competition at running back in my opinion.

 

Not to mention the Texans probably don't want to be the center of talks when White gets his suspension. More PED talks, FTL.
