We must have already detected Garrett Graham as a bust ala Anthony Hill. Isn't Dorin Dickerson playing strictly receiver?
No I think it's just insurance in case Dreesen, Hill, or OD don't make a complete recovery. At least two tight ends of our current 6 won't make the roster. And one of those two might not even make the practice squad.
Joe Namath is one of the most over-hyped QBs in NFL history. His Career TD-INT ratio is 173-220 and his career completion percentage is 50.1%. His record as a starter was 62-63- 4. He was a very average QB who achieved Superstardom by his image and his famous guarantee that got the Jets their only Super Bowl win. Ben Roethlisberger in the 2008 season won the Steelers a handful of games by himself in crunch time, your assessment of him not being a main component of their championship success is flawed. You could say he wasn't great during the win vs the Seahawks, but he engineered the game-winning drive vs the Cardinals. He's a clutch QB in every sense of the word. And he likes his sex involuntary.
I was being sarcastic about the first part pertaining Garrett Graham. I think I recall Gary Kubiak saying that Dickerson is going to play WR. Could be wrong though.
Oh no, is Moestavern having a serious moment for once? I'll just ignore that one and take you for the goof ball that you are.
Not Texans news, but Adam Schefter is reporting the Raiders are about to cut Russell. Lol, what a waste of a #1 pick.
This is shaping up to be the best offseason the Raiders have had in a long time. And no, I'm not kidding. Any guesses where he lands? (If anywhere)
I just want Russell's Bling. <object width="480" height="267"><param name="movie" value="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/xc35ki"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/xc35ki" width="480" height="267" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always"></embed></object><br /><b><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xc35ki_bobsblitz-com-doug-collins-calls-ou_lifestyle">BobsBlitz.com ~ Doug Collins Calls Out JaMarcus Russell</a></b><br /><i>Uploaded by <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/bobsblitz">bobsblitz</a>. - <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/us/channel/lifestyle">More lifestyle, fashion and how-to videos.</a></i>
That video would be a great opening scene to the movie "Why the NFL needs a rookie wage scale" because that is pathetic.
You could probably take it off his hands for cheap pretty soon, he'll be out of money before you know it.
I would honestly be shocked if he is on a team come this fall. I mean, possibly for the minimum, but would a team really want to waste their time on him? I would think every team has better options at this point. Russell needs to get his ass in shape and show a dedication to the game before any team can take him seriously. Its on him...he has the tools...but the desire is lacking.
Jamarcus should start giving motivational speeches at the combine to draftee quarterbacks, telling them what he did to COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FAIL AT EVERY ASPECT OF BEING AN NFL QUARTERBACK, so that they'll realize that you can't just coast on talent. David Carr can join him.
Well JaMarcus is pathethic. He never really tried, at least at one point Carr tried...JaMarcus was basically "F*** it." once he got his huge paycheck. He never tried to better himself it seems so now he's at where he's at now. JaMarcus can write a book called "How to bust in any Professional sport." because he did everything he could possibly do to ensure that. I think he will go down as the biggest one in history. Bigger than Leaf. We'll see, because Leaf was given other chances i'm not so positive that teams are going to want JaMarcus because he's now notorious for not giving a ****.
