[Official] Texans offseason thread

I dont know when the Texans signed him, but he's on the roster.

They signed him in January.

 

Texans will find out later on today if the game at the Jets will be on Thanksgiving this year. There is a good chance it will be.

I'm hoping the Texans play the Jets on the opening Monday night. Rumors have the Dolphins playing, but it would be nice if the Texans got the chance to spoil the Jets home opener in their new stadium just like they spoiled our home opener last year.

 

Well damn, nevermind. I could have sworn I saw that they made it official with the Jets somewhere, but apparently I am wrong. No decision has been made.

Couple of other things to pass along. Tomorrow (Wednesday) ESPN will talk about the Texans. Mike Tirico, Trent Dilfer, Chris Mortensen and Mel Kiper will discuss the Texans draft needs. Not sure what time it'll run, but check the evening and late SportsCenter and also ESPNews during the evening.

Also, NFL Network's Path to the Draft will have a segment on the Texans and their draft needs on Thursday. That program will air at 5:30pm with a repeat at 9:00pm and numerous other times.

 

Owen Daniels supposed to be on Jim Rome today. Glad I decided to flip on the tele.

Although it does mention the Texans may have a show in another capacity. Look forward to that.

 

Probably LT put them over the top. Following him adapt to a new team and whatever hijinks Ryan goes through are both flashy storylines.

 

If only we had an average kicker last year, that video would have been a little different about how we finished close games last year

 

Mel Kiper picking the Texans as a potential Super Bowl pick next year. Interesting.

 

By the time Mel Kiper is done, all teams will be potential Super Bowl picks and he will proclaim how correct he was.
