You're overreacting. Stats from last year indicate that he was one of the worst corners in the game.

I would be shocked if someone gave him 10M/yr considering he had ZERO picks this past season. I think Leigh Bodden is someone that might be worth that much.

Also, drafting a corner in the second round sounds like a decent plan.

As poorly as D-Rob played last year, I was hoping the Texans would NOT franchise him but try to resign him to a reasonable contract. Yea he struggled last year, but the depth at the corner position is now worrisome as Quin and Reeves are currently the starters with McCain the 3rd corner. I'm hoping the Texans spend a 2nd rounder on a corner as well, there seems to be good prospects at that spot, and I'm praying for Earl Thomas in first. That would really boost our secondary

    Agreed. Offer him $5M/2 yrs.

I'd also fall out of my chair if Robinson was given $10M per season, even if it were a short deal.

The only team that would overpay for Dunta is Washington. Even at that, I don't see them giving him more than 5 years at 35-40 million with about 15 million guaranteed. Now, if we arent talking Redskins, then that offer will drop significantly.

Dunta is not better than Carlos Rogers or Deangelo Hall. No real need for the Redskins to pay him that much to compete as a nickelback.

texans should sign the hell out of b. westbrook. he still has a good 2 seasons left in the tank as long as he can keep his brains from smashing against his skull again. and he'll come dirt cheap.

He'll be in and out of the DL with concussions. He needs to retire before something bad happens.

I agree...but given the uncapped year and the fact that Snyder doesnt care about money, if anyone is going to overpay, it will be the Redskins.

As far as Westbrook is concerned...the guy ruined my fantasy team this season. He will not be in the lineup for more than 3 weeks at a time. In and out, in and out. No thanks, I'd much rather gamble on LT.

Dunta Robinson 41 total tackles 32 solo tackles 0 sacks 0 forced fumbles 0 fumble recoveries 0 interceptions

Glover Quin 68 total tackles 54 solo tackles 0 sacks 0 forced fumbles 0 fumble recoveries 0 interceptions

If your telling me that Dunta Robinson is worth 10 million a year, then Glover Quin must be worth that too since he had a better year....as a rookie...and he only played in 15 games, while Dunta played all 16....He should have taken the contract we offered him last year with 23 million guaranteed.

They'll overpay for someone else, not Dunta.

Just saw on SportsCenter LT said his first choice is the Houston Texans

Geesh I realize we already said we don't want aging running backs but hell what else do we have.

Not to mention, Glover had 11 pd and Dunta had 9.

Dunta truly had a very mediocre season. He's probably currently sitting as a top 30-35 cornerback in the NFL. Throw in the kind of money he thinks he deserves and he easily becomes one of the worst buys in the NFL.

Wow. I'll take him at a good price. The difference between him and aging backs we have signed before like Ahman Green is (a)he should be much cheaper and (b) he doesn't have a terrible injury history, although he has some.

I think he could be a very effective spell-back and goalline back.

Thats why I want him...he really has a knack for getting that yard or two to get into the endzone. Plus, he can be a great mentor for the younger backs, like Slaton and Foster...learning from one of the best can be great for those kids.

Mike Mayock now has Earl Thomas ahead of Eric Berry for his #1 Safety.

tackles is a terrible number to judge a DB by. More tackles is usaully a bad thing

Mayock's mocks are all about the wow factor, that's why he has McCoy ahead of Suh and Thomas ahead of Berry. No team in their right mind would do that and I'm a HUGE Earl Thomas fan.

Interesting. I'll gladly take LT if the price is right. Knowing Kubiak/Smith, there is a decent chance this could happen.
