No franchise tag for you! (insert image of soup nazi) http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/6882589.html Looks like the texans will not franchise Dunta.

I think he'll have the last laugh. He is by far the best UFA corner on the market. He'll get his money
The Texans will just pay with opposing teams touchdowns. I hate Dunta but If we don't get a great corner in Free agency or in the draft the defense is screwed.
What?! Dunta was picked on late in the season. Down the stretch, Glover Quinn was outplaying Dunta by a mile. Dunta may be one of the "best" cb in FA, but he was simply not that great of a cover corner this year and he hasnt been since his first 2 years.
He will resign with the texans in FA no doubt about it, he has too many years logged into this organization when they are on the brink!
I said it before. I hate the guy but It's going to be hard for the Texans to replace him. He's overrated but He'll get top 10 CB money. Pro bowl Corners are hard to find.
Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but Toby Gerhart is worth a long look in the 3rd round if he's still on the board. Dude runs hard, breaks tackles, and should be decent in short yardage. Nice change of pace from Slaton and the kid from Tennessee.
He'll be gone by then. I see him going in the second round. He will be a killer in the combine and I would love him here. I want Earl Thomas in the 1st and Gerhart in the 2nd.
ET would be a great fit in a porous Texans' secondary. He's a ballhawk with good instincts in pass coverage. Exactly what Houston needs. Gerhart fills the need for depth in the backfield. But wouldn't surprise me if those idiots went D-line once again. : )
I agree with everybody who said he's not that great, but we definitely need him. Now Glover Quinn is our best CB and while we all wanted a pass rushing DT or a game changing RB or a ballhawk FS in the 1st, it's most likely going to be a CB to replace Dunta. So goodbye Earl Thomas, Bryan Price, Jonathan Dwyer, etc.
