    rockHEAD rule, first of all.

Second of all, why didn't you ask him to play GM and tell you who we'd sign and draft?

i'm curious if caldwell will take over the guard spot since i'm not sure how effective pitts will be after his surgery.

I wouldn't mind Caldwell getting a shot at C. But I haven't recovered from watching Myers getting tossed around like a ragdoll vs. the Jets. If Pitts can come back 100%, I really wouldn't mind seeing a Brown-Pitts-Caldwell-Studdard-Winston unit.

Yeah probably all bigger DTs are going to try that on him now. Like how everyone tries to posterize Yao.

Cromartie would be a great addition...dangit, whyd Slaton have to have a down year?!?

Anyways, Im ready for football season to start. Easily the most itch Ive had for football this early on in the offseason. Next season better be epic.

My whole life Ive been a DIE HARD fan of the three major teams in Houston. Basketball was the first sport I got into and played it ever since I was about 9 or 10 so the Rockets have always been number one to me while the Astros and Texans battling each other for 2nd and 3rd. It's crazy though, about a month ago I realized that I've now evolved into a bigger Texans fan than a Rockets fan. Can't wait for the combine next week!

    Daniels unhappy....no big surprise

    http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Wilson-Owen-Daniels-says-he-may-skip-training-camp.html

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels is unhappy that he's slated to be a restricted free agent for the second year in a row.

Recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, Daniels is one of the players who has lost a shot at free agency due to the uncapped year.

And he's contemplating staying away from the Texans during the offseason for as long as possible, perhaps even not reporting until close to the season.

"I might not even do training camp," Daniels said during an NFL Sirius radio interview.

Daniels has been angling for a lucrative long-term deal.

Until he gets the offer he's looking for, which isn't likely to happen until his knee is 100 percent, expect this one to drag out for a while.

    Sigh.

Dude, your ACL blew out, now is NOT the time to be sitting out of ANYTHING football related and acting like Dumbta.

Get your ass to camp, work hard, have another fantastic year, and GET PAID.

I guess since he was on the inside looking out, he couldn't see the hilarity of Dunta Robinson finally coming around after a bad year.

There is a little difference. Owen was arguably a top 3 player at his position, Dunta was never as good as he thought he was.

Oh great...seriously, this kind of discussion is already coming up? C'mon Owen!

Dude, the guy can barely run and he's complaining? At the very least, wait until you are fully healed and showing the Texans that you are back before moaning and groaning.

Threatening to not come to camp is bush league. Not cool given the circumstances.

Holy crap I can't stand cry-babies! Seriously dude, man up like DeMeco, come back strong, and prove you're worth what you want before you start campaigning again.

I'd really love to be able move Owen for pick(s). I like his talent, but we have so many other positions of greater need. I'd also like us to be able to trade down out of the 20th spot and pick up additional draft pick(s). Everyone knows what we need (safety, corner, OL, DL, RB) and the Texans could really make some noise with a good 2010 draft haul.

I think OD is going to have a great season next year, and he will get his big contract with the texans.

Oh look, another grown man being paid millions to play a child's game crying like a titty-baby.

You signed a contract, Owen. Get your whiny millionaire ass to camp and earn your freaking paycheck like the rest of us.
