Need to go ahead a shut down aj for the season. Force these qb's to learn how to look for Hopkins or griffin. Also would like to see how far along posey has come post-injury.
Once again, I ask why? If you wanna play that game, I'll tell you that Bridgewater has more Randall Cunningham in him than Akili. See, I can do it, too.
At this point.....why hasn't Yates been given another chance. I don't feel the future starting QB is on the roster but Keenum is snake bite at this point. I don't think it helped his confidence either when he was pulled for Schaub a couple of times by Kubiak.
Andre Ware and David Klingler warmly welcome Case Keenum to the club of UH QBs who don't translate to the NFL. Two terrible INTs.... I don't think anyone can make the case for Case.
And injured. I feel bad for Yates. He didn't get much of an opportunity in relief of Schaub. But after what Schaub had done, his pick 6 couldn't have come at a worse time. People were already calling for Case so for the next game, Case was the starter and Schaub was the backup. I think TJ would probably be doing better right now than Case had he been given more than one quarter of playing time.
Hey, the Texans are my Texans. I may not enjoy every game for what it is, but I'll still watch cause it's Houston. It's years like these that build the character of a franchise. It's important to stick around as a fan.
Bridgewater might never be an elite QB (and there is no way anyone can make that prediction yet), but he's an automatic upgrade over anyone we have. Same with Lovie. They might be stale unimaginative choices, but that doesn't mean they are bad choices. We'd get an upgrade at our two weakest positions, coach and QB.
You guys are way too harsh on Case. You have to understand this is his rookie season in terms of playing. So you really need to give him a chance to learn and develop. You guys are expecting Manning or Brady. Case needs at least 2 more years to develop and we can only judge him then. I think he has the IT factor, that many qbs rarely have.
