If we can win one game and still get the #1 pick, this is the game I want to win. Even more than the titans. Effing losing streak at Indy needs to stop NOW.
Texans jump out to an early lead 17-6 lead by halftime. Colts come back and crush the Texans 33-20. Texans continue their futility in Indianapolis...
I actually want the Texans to win this game and lose the last two. We need to end this freaking losing streak at Indy. But Keenum is starting so it will probably be a loss.
Why would a win in this game make anyone happy? A win in Indy might give Wade a fighting chance to convince Uncle Bob to give him a crack at the head coaching job next season. I don't want there to be ANY gray area concerning who our next coach will be, and winning meaningless football games does exactly that. That #1 pick needs to be locked up, period.
Exactly. A win would not be some sort of moral victory or a stepping stone for next year. It would simply be fools gold.
BTW Atlanta and Washington both have 3 wins and play each other which mean one has to have 3 wins by the end of the season. Minnesota's tie keeps them ahead of the Texans. Atlanta's finishing schedule is either tougher or a wash vs the Texans schedule. Basically, all I'm saying that beating the Colts in Indy would not likely hurt the race for the #1 pick. Also, I seriously doubt 1 win against Indy would help Wade's bid to take over as head coach next year. It is not like the defense has been all the great this year, and the offense just stunk it up.
