What do you call success? Parker rushed for over 1200 yards and averaged 4.7 yards per carry, that's hardly struggling.

Yes, and he had a 76 yd TD run, but those stats for the year are not good enough for a number one pick.

Willie Parker type of RBs are available and you don't need to waste a first round pick on one.

Bush does alot more than Willie Parker. He'll put up at least those type of numbers on the ground, plus all of his receiving and return yards. That type of player is not available and is worth a first round pick.

Look, I love Vince too, but you're clearly grapsing at straws on this one.

Vince > Bush by a WIDE margin.

In 5 years people will be calling this the Vince draft.....and if the Texans are not the ones that draft him, they will be crying in their beers at the bottom of their division for years to come.

What they should do is draft Vince Young, and go out and get Shaun Alexander in free agency.

    I remember hoping and praying
that McNair NOT MAKE THAT SUPERBOWL PLAY!!!
I don't want to do that again

    Watching Tennessee in the Superbowl
AGAIN . . would be ridiculous . .. but this time
I may be rooting for them

DD. Parker is probably as fast as Bush, but he can't juke and cut on a dime like Bush, he also doesn't have the hands and receiving abilities, and punt/kickoff return abilities Bush has. Also, Bush is bigger than Parker. The only thing the two have in common is speed.

You are clearly grasping for straws here.

I don't think Reggie is a great KR right now. Or punt returner.

For 130 years, A&M's Corps of Cadets have provided our State and country with leaders in the military, government and business.

Texas A&M has the largest cadet corps outside the U.S. military academies and commissions more officers in all four branches of service than any other university military program. Former cadets have served in every military conflict, from the Indian Wars to the Iraq War. During World War II, 54,000 Aggies served (14,000 as officers), more than any other school, including the service academies. They have always answered our Nation's call, and they have always met the challenge.

Although only a small percentage of Texas A&M's student population, members of the Corps of Cadets are the keepers of the many famous traditions at A&M that contribute to the unique culture and spirit that is ``Aggieland.''

Today, former cadets serve in leadership and frontline forces throughout our military services and will help lead our Nation to success in this 21st century war against terrorism.

Parker is a great comparison for Bush, he does cut on a dime, that is what the Titans were raving about when Fast Willie tore them up in game one.

My point is still valid, when the Steelers needed to close out the game, they gave it to the Bus, not Willie...when Pete Carroll needed a first down late in the game, he gave it to White, not Bush.

Reggie Bush is NOT Barry Sanders, he is a good back, but not worth a number 1 pick, he is not that special.

    Vince is......

Great for them, and great for us.

So do some other folks, without as much fanfare or self promotion

So if the steelers have Barry Sanders and Bettis, who do you give it to to close out the end of the game or if you need 1 yard on 4th and 1? Hmmmmmm? Easy. The bigger/slower/more powerful back (Bettis).

So I believe in Vince Young and that he is the right choice for the Texans, big deal.

Here is an idea, there is an ignore feature, use it.....

Yeah, that's not all you do. The level are your immaturity is off the charts. You go off posting about Vince like he's God, I mean we get the point. You don't have to keep posting it. And you say you'll go bragging/ rubbing it in our faces if he goes superstar mode in a different team, not even Reggie Bush fans have acted like this, they don't go that far. You're like a little kid that needs to grow up. . . Hell, I'm not even a Reggie Bush fan and I think you're annoying.

Wait. Pittsburgh just used an undrafted, speedy RB and a washed-up bruiser RB to win the Super Bowl. Why do we need Bush again? At #1, no less? After watching those two defensive units play today, I'm thinking maybe we should trade down and shore up our defense first.
