[Official] Reggie Bush or Someone else -- Vince Young out of running

yea, i get it. but it's always gonna be about VY vs Bush in this thread.

 

again...we're not talking about people ON THIS THREAD. i'm talking about scouts..experts, etc. those people are NOT saying those things about VY. they're saying them about Reggie Bush. soooooo...where's the trade value?

i realize that. but we're the ones arguing amonst each other who is better, we're not arguing with the scouts and experts.

that doesn't answer the question i posed. i'm not asking who is better. i'm not comparing VY and reggie anymore. it's done. it's over. this isn't about that.

 

BTW. Reggie Bush is not the greatest prospect ever. He would be in the top 20 though.

 

dude, i answered the question by stating that it may be just b/c the Texans asking price is too high. and just b/c you haven't heard anything doesn't mean they haven't been offered anything.

it's just hard to let go of the VY vs RB thing b/c we've been doing it for the past 3 months. i apologize for misinterpreting your post. hopefully you're satisfied with the answer i've posted already.

 

i understand it's your answer. it just doesn't make sense to me if he's the "once in a lifetime" player he's heralded to be. teams have made all sorts of ridiculous trades for talent less touted than he is.

 

There has to be a special situation where a team believes that a RB will be able to turn their team into winner. Most teams that we could trade with realize that they are more then one player away. Hence we can't get what we want for us to trade down.

 

and teams have NOT made trades for lesser talents too

 

so reggie bush won't turn a team into a winner? seems i've been hearing that he would. that's been the selling point of RB...instant credibility. instant impact.

again...having a hard time understanding the fact the most valued player has no trade value.

 

Yes - I also read his question, which has to do with why teams are not making trade offers. Unless the people posting here are the GMs of teams, what people here say in regards to Bush or Vince or anyone else is really irrelevent to the question.

i know what i think the answers are. and i think those answers argue against taking reggie bush.

 

i was referring to people in this thread b/c they are the ones making a case for their player. anyhow, it's over and done with this topic.

 

Why aren't people trying to trade up with us to get VY, or Mario, or D'Brick?
