Both Faulk and Barber have shown they can run the ball between the tackles successfully and fall forward after the initial hit. Bush hasn't done that yet... I'm not saying Bush can't do it, but it is a BIG question mark in my mind.

    agreed.

and when i ask that question of hard-core Bush fans...they re-direct and tell me about how great he'll be as a slot receiver.

Faulk and Barber are the exceptions, not the rule.

Bingo. And it took Barber multiple years to learn the NFL game.

Reggie Bush might become a workhorse every down kinda of back. But there are lots of doubters, including experts (listening to NFL people, not just nit wit media scouts making money off selling rags).

Reggie Bush has every bit if not more changes to make to his game than VY does to his, and VY has the prototype size. The only thing that makes VY more likely to dissapoint at the next level is the QB position in the NFL is more difficult to play. It is more important (if both exceed expecations VY will be the more impactfull player, great QBs simply are), but also more difficult.

This is for RM95 and anyone else who wants to call me out...

I decided to visit the VY situation again with my source via email, seeing as I never resolved the test grading issue the last time:

Look, I don't like it anymore than you do (I'm a UT student right now, for crying out loud), but it is what it is.

Is this the same source as the Beltran info?

And apparently you know both Reggie Bush and Vince Young better than any NFL talent evaluator out there. What a gift! ;)

We've been over the Beltran situation before: Beltran changed his mind after I got my info. Dude's a flake. The end. This is still the same source that told me of Beltran's trade to the Astros a full day before it was reported anywhere. Or perhaps you want to refute that, too?

Yes, it is possible that my source is wrong. But it's not likely.

Or your source was just wrong.

Dude, there's really no reason to get all defensive. Chill out.

I'm just not likely to believe that there's a big conspiracy among the NFL to upgrade the score of a certain player. And yeah, your source has been right before and he's been wrong before (of course your source will tell you he was right and that Beltran was just a flake).

Regardless of whether or not the score is correct is basically irrelevant except to those cheering a) someone who would have to be mentally challenged to score that low or b) someone getting a score that low just because of the color of the jersey they were.

Too bad his stock as a pro doubled after the rose bowl, so if he would have come out we still wouldn't have picked him unless we had like the 10-20 pick

Quick question (one that VY467 would've gotten right on the Wonderlic):

Who was in the game on 4th down when their team needed a 1st down/TD the most?

    a) Vince Young
    b) Reggie Bush

    Don't think too long...

    Great argument!

    LET me think

It doesn't matter because we are not picking the r****d. Bush is such a good prospect that he changes the game touching the ball limited times a game (like a randy moss). We are not getting Reggie Bush to get us two yards.

    Stay classy, College Station.

I find it terribly sad that you feel the need to make fun of mentally challenged people. I really hope for your sake that karma doesn't come back and bite you in the ass by giving you a son or daughter with mental disabilities. You and others like you who have made fun of mentally challenged people on this board should really be ashamed of yourselves. Something tells me you're not.
