    1) I'm not a lawyer
    2) Sammity's source prohibited the leeching of bandwidth with a message and by removing the picture. The source I used didn't.

    Sorry, brah

Exactly, and at least we don't call someone a once and a lifetime quarterback when he isn't even considered a lock to be the first qb taken.

Well, one played for one of the worst football programs in college football and one played quite possibly the best game in a big game ever.

What's the point of these posts? Why are you two trolling?

rocketman95.. I'm a Texans fan. If we are going to talk quarterback we should be talking ML... and now that some people are moving Cutler ahead of Young we should also be talking Cutler.

If this team really needs a qb.. why is no one mentioning ML despite him being considered the top qb?

That question has been answered numerous times in this forum.

I don't want us to spend a pick on someone just because he went to the University of Texas.. if we are serious about taking a qb.. why not discuss ML?

No. The fact that he's a hometown guy is icing on the cake.

Most people who advocate taking Young and dumping Carr believe that if he lives up to his potential, he could be an all-time great who could revolutionize his position. While Vince may need a more work than your more traditional QBs like Cutler or Leinart, his upside is higher in many VY supporters (which I am not necessarily one of...I want Bush, VY or Mario) minds.

This isn't about anti-vince... nor is it about anti-ut or anything of that matter

It's pickabout not wanting to take another quarterback..

I've heard the argument a number of times that we should take another quarterback because Vince is once in a lifetime.. I honestly want to know, if he is once in a lifetime why don't most scouts consider him to be the top qb?

If someone really was once in a lifetime I might be in favor of drafting them...

Have you guys listened to sportsradio 610 lately? Am I the only person who has noticed that every black caller wants to draft VY6 and trade/get rid of Carr? What's the deal with that? It's gotten to the point of being comical.

Thanks for the good response. I will buy that. I just think he gets overhyped on this board because he is the guy most the board loves just like I overhype Cutler sometimes.

You've seen him play more than I have, I will take your word that he is going to be special.

I'm still in favor of drafting Reggie or trading the pick

Maybe we should ask them why they didn't rate Brett Favre so high ... or Tom Brady for that matter. Scouts can be wrong and I think they are. I'll be a Texans fan no matter who they draft. VY has the leadership that David Carr will never have. That's why I'd prefer him over Carr.

halfbreed.. that's a good point, didn't Brett going to a small college have something to do with that though.. seems Vince has been seen by more scouts than Brett probably was.

OK, then what's the point of barbs like:

Again, Cutler and Leinart are more NFL-ready than VY. I don't think you would find many Vince Young supporters who would argue against that. While his upside is huge, you're also taking a bigger risk with VY.

rocketman95.. I wasn't the one who originally said the at least we aren't saying we should draft someone because he went to our college

BUT, I still do agree that it has a lot to do with it. If Matt was on Texas and Vince was on USC .. I doubt there would be nearly as many people wanting Vince..

I still think him going to Texas is a large reason he has all this support as the top pick and I think had he gone to another school there wouldn't be nearly the support..

You have issues, the fact that you don't realize it is comical.

If I wanted a qb, the reason I wouldn't draft VY is because I want more of an immediate impact... I'd prefer someone considered more ready.. that's the reason I wouldn't draft VY
