I'd prefer Young, but if we take Bush i'll be happy -- if we trade down i'll be happy though i'd rather take Reggie then trade down.

And that's MHO in a nutshell.

You have me confused with someone else. I have called people idiots and morons before (I openly admitted to doing that earlier and said it was childish) but it wasn't a one sided thing. In fact I would say it's only happened maybe 3 or 4 times and probably 2 of those times I was insulted first. It's not an excuse but but simply a fact. I haven't called anyone an *******. I've told SamFisher to stop being a smartass but that's not calling him an assshole.

In your opinion I don't have an exact point. I think i have made quite a few points on why I like Carr, why I want to draft Bush or trade down, and why I don't think DD is a long term solution at RB. I have also made numerous points on why I don't think Vince is a good fit here. I haven't been throwing "litle barbs" at everyone.

Next time get your facts straight before you post a bunch of bs.

Wow, this thread has gotten really pleasant.

It doesn't matter, because CUTLER is going #1!!!!!

Jay Cutler Aces Wonderlic While Blindfolded

INDIANAPOLIS--The amazing Jay Cutler, one of the greatest quarterbacks in football history, wowed scouts over the weekend by getting a perfect score on the Wonderlic exam while wearing a blindfold. It was the first ever perfect score on the test, but for Cutler, it was all in a day’s work.

“Ah, it was nothing. I just decided to do it blindfolded to get the attention of the scouts,” said Cutler. “I do amazing things like this every day. Once you’ll get to know me you’ll see that pretty much everything I do is perfect. Hell, I can play linebacker if they want. I can kick field goals. If someone gets injured, I can heal them - with my bare hands. Why do you think I rocketed up the draft board so fast?”

After taking the Wonderlic, Cutler returned to the football field and amazed more scouts with his superhuman skills. The highlight of his workout was a 90-yard perfect touchdown pass thrown while he was falling backwards to the ground. Immediately after the play, Cutler dropped down and did 100 push-ups.

“Whenever I score a touchdown or make some spectacular play, I always drop and do 100 right after it,” said Cutler. “I know it might seem kind of weird to certain Hollywood types and certain ‘athletic’ quarterbacks from Texas, but I guess I’m just cut from a different cloth. Oops. Look at the time. I’ve got to go to the gym and pump iron, then head over to the children’s hospital for my weekly visit. Then it’s off to my MENSA meeting.”

Cutler is a product of Vanderbilt University. Because of their small football program, he didn’t get the media attention that Matt Leinart and Vince Young did. Recently, however, his stock has soared and he's now projected as the second or third pick in the draft.

“Jay just came out of nowhere this year,” said one AFC scout. “He didn’t have an impressive record in college, but he has all the tools – strength, speed, intelligence, you name it. The fact that he aced that Wonderlic test without looking didn’t surprise me at all. I’m just surprised he even bothered taking it. Nobody here would dare question his intelligence, and if he got that impression, then we all owe him a big apology.”

The buzz around Jay Cutler is growing louder by the day, while the opposite is true for his two main rivals, Leinart and Young.

Even Leinart admitted, however, that Cutler was worthy of the hype.

“It’s hard to argue with all this hype,” Leinart told reporters at the combine. “He is amazing. I’ve never seen anything quite like him in my life. The funny thing is that he’s actually a really nice guy. I walked up to him yesterday all nervous and stuff and shook his hand. He was totally cool, you know, just a regular guy. He even talked to me for a few minutes. Of course I was a blubbering idiot the whole time. Man, I’m such a dork.”

Believe it or not, there are still some people who are not sold on Cutler. One, to be exact: Vince Young of the Texas Longhorns.

“I’m sorry I just don’t see it,” Young said yesterday. “OK so he’s got speed and agility and all that crap. Big deal. I’m a pretty good quarterback, too. Remember me? Rose Bowl? About a million total yards? Everybody saying I was the best quarterback they’d ever seen? Yea well I haven’t gone anywhere. I’m still here. Yes, I got a 6 on the Wonderlic on the first try, but then I took it again and got a 16. Of course, I wasn’t blindfolded at the time - but I did have my headphones on.”

Whichever team drafts Cutler will almost certainly be the favorite to win the Super Bowl next year and every year for the foreseeable future. That team could be the Tennessee Titans, which is just fine with Cutler.

“I’d love to play for the Titans,” he said. “Winning a dozen or so Super Bowls here in Tennessee would be terrific. The only thing I worry about is whether it will get boring for the fans to watch someone so flawless in every way. That could be a serious problem. I hope it doesn’t discourage the Titans from selecting me.”

Most observers have the Titans selecting Cutler, especially since Nashville city officials are already planning the 2007 Super Bowl parade.

You're just plain wrong. Lets review my time at Clutchfans.

    1) I never really posted except to give you guys insider information on who the Rockets were working out, when injuured players were coming back ect....

    2) I said before the Rose Bowl that I thought USC was going to beat uT and that Reggie Bush deserved the Heisman over VY. I argued why and pointed out the flaws in his game that i felt would lead to a USC victory (I'm a Michigan fan so I was impartial). I said that if UT won I would come back here and eat my crow. I did. Everyone here will vouch for that.

    3) I've said that I have no problem with Vince. I hope he has a great career and he played one of the best national championship games I've ever seen. He has my respect for his efforts on the field.

    4) I don't feel we need a QB. I like Carr, he was effective when given a chance (the season before last) and i think Kubiak and co will make him into a good if not great QB. He has all the tools to be a star and hasn't had a chance to excel because of a poor o-line, bad play calling and coaching issues.

    5) I want Bush. I think he's going to be a superstar and can help our team in a variety of ways. While DD is effective, he oft injured, can't block and lacks breakaway speed. If we don't draft Reggie I'm ok with us trading down and picking up a nice package from the Jets. I want what's going to help the Texans get to the playoffs soonest (and Young is still two years away, even if he ends up being a superstar).

    6) I have questions about Vince's ability to run a pro offense, delivery and intelligence. Those are my doubts. My only concern with Reggie is his size (but I'm not very concerned about it because he's never missed a game).

    7) You always make false statements about me and then accuse me of doing the same "tossing in little barbs" is how you put it. It's you posting the pictures and making up bs about me not the other way around. I'd like to hear you dispute anything i've just posted. You won't be able to.

Yeah, I really got owned on that one. Instead of posting pictures or lame comments like "owned" why don't you take a look at my post and debate or give some examples of places where I was incorrect. Anyone can post "owned" on a computer, who cares (especially when he didn't do anything of the such).

You, KingCheetah and a couple others just have this idea that if we don't want to take VY with our first pick we're haters. Like i said earlier, add something to the discussion or don't bother. You're acting like a cheerleader.

Ok, whatever. I actually tried to initiate a discussion with you and you acted like a little kid. Very mature. The exact things you criticize others for you do yourself. You're simply a hypocrite and a waste of time. When we don't pick Vince on draft day you will be the one who is "oxposed" or whatever you wrote.

Your sig says I didn't sleep with your wife, how do you know?

The Houston Texans will make a big mistake not picking up Vince, but I guess they have faith in David Carr. (A little too much if you ask me) I've finally accepted the fact we're sticking with Carr. We don't need Bush. So as a result, let's trade down for some players and a couple of good picks. We need receivers and some linebackers, not to mention a line. If we're not taking Vince, we might as well trade down.
