I appreciated his professionalism until he went full idiot and called out Dre on the sideline. I never appreciated his noodle-arm throwing motion or his statue-esque mobility. The fact that the Texans gave him a bloated contract after the foot injury did not make me appreciate him any more either. I suppose I appreciate him securing us the first pick of the draft. I guess this thread is not for me.
I don't appreciate losers that didn't do anything on the field for the texans. Go use the raiders now maybe they can help carry your sorry behind with a great running game and defense.
The greatest QB we've ever had, or will ever have. Godspeed, Schaub. I appreciated you when none of these other heathens did :'(
There were some, but not many, good times. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/WEJ8YjDrXCY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
matt schaub appreciation thread... lmaooooooooooo. only thing i appreciated about schaub was.. um..... this might take a while..
Oh man .. worst feeling is spending money to fly to an away game at Candlestick and watching Schaub throw a pick six in the first few plays. Also the game where Owen Daniel's had to get carted off. Had beer poured on me and I wasn't even talking smack. Their fans always had something to jump out of their seats about because the Texans stunk up the joint that night. Thanks, Schaub.
Never forget that last year filling in for an injured Matt Ryan - Schaub stepped in and threw for 460 yards against the Seahawks! Legend! (lol)
Man, reflecting back on the Schaub era is the biggest game of coulda/woulda/shoulda. He fell of a cliff in 2013, but from 2008 to 2012 he was pretty nails. The fated QB sneak from our own end zone shortened his prime, and 2011 was by far our best chance at a SB in team history. Had he not been hurt, I think we win the title. Just imagine if the FO had known about Schaub's decline, they could have made a more aggressive run at Peyton, and what if he came here instead of Denver. I look back at how happy I was to see Kubiak and Rick Smith go, but now I would do anything to have a regime in place that was that stable, organized, and non-dysfunctional.
