That contract has to be one of the worst personnel decisions ever. Totally absurd. And they did it when he hadn't even proven that he could come back from the foot injury.
It was fun while it lasted. I did my best to defend him his whole time in Houston, but it just became too hard this year. Time to go, Schaub. Time to go and never return.
Schaub sucked this year and it is definitely time to move on. Regardless, he has always been classy and someone that you didn't have a problem being a face of a franchise. He worked hard and wanted to win. I never questioned his ethic or give a **** like Carr. I wish it had worked out differently and someone that would deserve applause if he ever showed up against us.
I know it was like they were outbidding a non existent team. I say they because I dont know if it was Kubes, Smith, Mcnair or who but totally absurd.
He's supposed to make around 14.5 million next season. When he's cut he'll count $10 million towards the cap so we'll have an extra 4.5 million in cap space.
Schaub did great things for us, I really think it could been different in 2011, when the texans were 7-3 and he got hurt, that was one of the best teams. Schaub could've won that game in Baltimore, and he did a nice season with 4,700 passing yards with no running game, and only AJ and Owen Daniels as a weapons. But this year he sucked, he did good things the first 2 games, and had great 3 quarters against Seattle, but since that pick six against the Seahwaks, that was the beginning of the end, and his time is done now. I think Schaub will get picked as a backup or as a 3rd stringer by some other team. Goodbye Schaub.
if you don't like it then dont read it. Sorry I don't drink the same kool aid as you do. I'm sure in your tiny brain schaub is a Super Bowl caliber qb.
