    Let us be honest, the contract was more important
    He wanted to stay somewhere for years and he got the years and the conditions.
    It was a business decision for him
    Morey was not going to make him a priority

    Glad Chuck got his money. Sad to see him go, but considering the logjam at PF and recent developments (that fell through), its not surprising.

    The only thing I liked about the Gasol trade was it opened the door to re-signing Chuck. This whole week has sucked.

    I will definitely miss the chuckwagon. I was hoping to see more triple doubles from him this season playing at the PF position for the Rockets

    I find it hard to picture Morey matching that contract, so all this Stern hate seems off-base.

    And besides, Pau + Lowry + Chuck + :( + :( would have still been tanking.

    Glad to see him get paid. I dont think Rockets would've offered him that much considering our salary for Scola, the fact we have Patterson in the wings and a potential C signing/trade (oh wait, trade was destroyed by Stern).
