    Kings signed forward-center Chuck Hayes to a four-year, $21.3 million deal mirroring full mid-level exception, source tells Y! Hayes in Sac.

    <HR>UPDATE: Chuck speaks with Sacramento media Friday, dishes out high praise to Houston, the Rockets organization and the fans.

    Good for him, seriously. Sucks for us. Chuck is a legit dude and a fun guy to cheer for. That's a contract no one believed he would ever get but himself.

    it's embarassing if rockets management really made that comment. one deal involving a player who wasn't on our roster falls through and we've lost 3 years? really? i'm choosing to believe that comment wasn't made.

    If the rumors are true, where would Chuck fit with Gasol, Nene and Patterson? I love the guy and everything he did for the team, and I think the Rockets genuinely wanted him back, but I don't think this means or changes anything.
