Chuck was obviously wanting to come here and waited to see if Morey could pull it off. Morey DID pull it off and then Stern *****ed us.

No one said that...was talking more about the situation pushing him than the org......but it probably reinforced DMorey the horse trader.....we have more turnover on our roster under him than just about every other team.

Even though it has been a rough 24 hours, this team still finished strong last year and is a playoff contender as assembled....

With or without Gasol, there was no need to keep Chuck, especially at that type of money... imo.

Congratulations Chuck! I´m really happy and proud of you. It´s hard to find another hard working class act like you.

I may think that Sacramento overpayed him a bit, but they will get a player they desperately need (especially in the locker room). You will be missed here.

Well, it's public now. Hayes may have been part of this "solid, smart plan" for all we know.

Rockets had a solid, smart plan to make Pau and Nene the front line of at least the next three years. Now, they may get neither.

Chuck was one of my favorite players that did everything except score a lot of points and, even then, his offensive game has improved alot from what it was.

I'm pissed. My opinion is the Rockets lost their tenacity, heart, and soul with the loss of this one player. Who is going to replace what Chuck does that goes unnoticed on the stat sheet? Noone...that's who.

we saved ourselves from paying Nene, a 12/7 guy for his career, $15 million/season. i'm choosing to see the silver lining.

I am talking about how his fans must be feeling
So according to reports Minnesota's offer was as good or maybe not as good but there is always Adelman.
Is this deal so enticing to play near Modesto? There has to be MORE to this.
He must be feeling the heat but IMHO he can do better than Sacramento on a sports level.
