    That's a steal for a team trading their declining star PG.

    so the other first round pick is minnesota's unprotected. kaman is an unrestricted free agent this summer, and aminu and bledsoe are average. the clippers will add e. gordon if chris paul opts in.

    of course david stern won't have the guts to veto another trade, so it will probably go through. i still think odom, scola, martin, dragic and 2 1st round picks is a better deal.

    If I am the Clippers I would do everything to keep Eric Gordon. He is a big time player.

    A back court of Eric Gordon and Chris Paul would work very well with Blake up front.

    Correct. Plus, the Hornets were the main reason why the deal leaked out and was so public. Being the fact that all NBA owners had to be kept in loop in deal its not surprising that things were not kept quiet.

    The Rockets didn't even see the worst of it. The trade publicity ultimately led to a disgruntled Lamar Odom getting traded for essentially nothing but capspace to the Lakers main competition in the West the Mavericks. If the Lakers loose out on Dwight Howard that will hurt, big time. Not to mention, you now have a disgruntled Kobe Bryant.

    If I where the clips I wouldn't offer Gordon.

    Kaman, Aminu, Bledso, + Min 1st is a lot better than any other out there.
