They're also professionals. I don't get to go into my office Monday and tell my employees that "I'm mentally shot and human. Can't make payroll ". I get if something tragic happened in his life but that's bullshit. It's your job
Hinch was weak. Says he couldn't stop the use of the video. Bullshit. He is either a liar or weak-minded person. Hinch is never coming back. Stop riding his jock. He should have been fired for Game 7 alone.
Not throwing in Cole was the dumbest thing I've seen (Until Snell was pulled in Game 6 of the WS last year), I wouldn't be shocked if it came out that Hinch was ordered to lose that game for whatever conspiracy reason you can imagine. When throwing in starters to shut down the opposition in a clinch game, Hinch was 2-3 (McCullers and Morton closed, Verlander blew it in game 4 of the ALDS, but the offense rallied and we won anyway). Cole pitched his CGS in the juicebox earlier this year off of pure rage against his former team that denied him the opportunity to win a ring.
Didn't it come out that Cole told Hinch only to bring him in if they were winning and at the start of an inning? If so, it's clear why he didn't come into that game and would not be angry.
The batting champ for 2021 wasn't a 2021 All-Star. We should of had 5 All-Stars. Yuli batting champion, a member of the 2017 World Series team.
I have the constitution of a 95 year old, that is true. Being up at 3AM is not something that lends itself to the MLB schedule. The old saying goes, "You're as old as you feel." If that's the case, I've been 95 for a very long time.
He was called up so early, it's hard to remember he's still only 24. The same age as our ROY candidate. (Luis Garcia)
