I count 7 games of 5 innings or more with 2 runs or less that Javier didn't get the win (either ND or L).
I am a horrible person, but I enjoy watching Chandler get huffy on twitter about the Astros not giving good info when talking with the media.
Brantley situation was all over the place. The communication to and from the media covering it was never consistent until the end when we found out he ended up getting surgery and was ruled out for the season.
The Rosenthal report from last week being the most notable that neither Click or Dusty are secured for next season...
Remember Dusty's comments regarding the Straw trade, really wanting a lefty reliever, the use of Mancini, etc. Plus, I don't think Click approves of Yanier being sidelined for the last week plus.
Isn't this the second time Yordan has had to correct something Dusty has said about his health? I think another time Dusty said both of Yordan's hands were sore and Yordan corrected that only one was sore.
He's now 8-3 (3 ND) in games of 6IP+ 3R-less See how I just completely changed the criteria to fit what I wanted to say? Everybody gets a participation trophy today
Neither one has a contract. How is that news or a sign of problems in the clubhouse? Baker wasn't secured for 2022 until after the World Series last year.
The only thing I can think of which might cause a rift between Crane and Click is if Crane approved making an offer to Correa of 6-180 as rumored and Click didn't make the offer to Correa's Agent. Correas appears to not have received the offer and my assumption was it was the agent who didn't pass it along or Correa conveniently forgot it. The alternative is Dusty still being part of kissing MLB *** and Crane not letting Click take care of Dustyism. Anyway, home for the last 4 vs the A's. I thought it was going to be: 9/15 McCullers 5 days 9/16 Verlander off IL 9/17 Urquidy 6 days 9/18 Valdez 5 days with Brown and Javier getting the first two starts @ TBR. No need to stop the 6 pitcher rotation in the middle of 17 straight games without a day off. Unless Garcia is handed a spot in the rotation between Urquidy and Valdez.
It's all fun and games until he nails the next batter in the head with a mid-90's FB cuz he isn't warm. (didn't actually happen but just saying that's why pitchers get their warmups).
