All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP, that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on AT&T Sports SW unless otherwise noted. 9-12 Framber Valdez (L) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (L) 5:40 MLBN (out-of-market only) 9-13 Hunter Brown (R) vs. Drew Hutchison (R) 5:40 9-14 Cristian Javier (R) vs. Joey Wentz (L) 12:10 MLBN (out-of-market only)
2 easy wins, and one close loss that results in nonstop complaints about Dusty and predictions our hitting and/or bullpen will get exposed in the playoffs.
Framber gets record equaling #24 in a row tonight. Dreadlocks of Doom. He's got exactly 4 more starts so if he indeed gets it to 26, he doesn't have to wait until next season to break the all time record. I would hate for him to have a 4 or 5 inning debut to start next season and poof the streak is gone.
Anything less than a sweep: unacceptable. Detroit is terrible. The city is worse. Horrible place. (advise to Astro players: don't leave your hotel except when being transported to the ball park, if they have one.)
Dude. It is has to sweep teams…especially on the road. 2 of 3 is always the goal, sweep is gravy. A 66% of games won is 106/107 wins.
the single thing i want out of every game/series from here on out is no injuries. i honestly don't care if they win.
So, a poster on here had this a month ago and people shot it down. Making it national now. I’m ok with it as long as Crane doesn’t do something stupid. I more or less trust him not to do something stupid.
That would be a pretty dramatic switch for a team that has still maintained a championship pedigree. My dream would be that Crane called up Lunhow, apologized and rehired him along with Hinch. Lunhow was a devastating loss to the organization. Click has done well by just letting Lunhow's stuff play out.
