Braves can't hit. They should trade everyone away.

After the first two games and the Yordan Hospital visit I’ll take it. Avoiding the sweep.

True. The way the BP has been shaky lately, it's great to get all the runs you can get to cushion the lead

1 out of 3 in Atlanta. If the Astros could figure out how to win World Series games at home then that should be a satisfactory outcome in October/November but...

Blown save from winning the series despite not being at full health and on the road.

    You faced there 2/3/4 starters.

They got to go up against your 3 and 4.

Houston is a better team if both teams are playing their best.

    Good win today.

A better question would be how many have managed for 20+ years and never won a WS

Almost don't want the Astros to have home field in the World Series. That hasn't gone so well.

Well certainly can’t deny the strength of our starting rotation. Should have won this series and the chisox series if not for BP meltdowns.

Thus endeth the post-ASB gauntlet of 32 games in 32 days (19-13).

    Enjoy the rest, boys.

ETA: Yanks are 10-20 since the break, SEA is 15-13

The resilience of the Astros after tough losses is one of the most admirable aspects of the team. I am very impressed by their fortitude. You have to give the players and Dusty credit.

My heart was sunk when Yordan was in limbo. Season would be lost without him.

12 managers have won 2000+ games. Only 1 hasn't won a world series. Bobby Cox and Leo Durocher only won 1 as managers.
