Lets see if the offensive drought trend continues the following game after the Stros score double digits in the game prior.

The Astros score 10 runs less on average when they score in double digits the game prior. I could handle 11 runs scored today.

That does not look good but I have faith.

Today is the day they score 6+ after a big 10+ run win the day before.

3 starts in a row for Chas in CF....what is this madness? Is Dusty off his rocker or has he actually admitted he was wrong and fans were right (without actually saying it)?

If he keeps doing it, my patronizing comment about Dusty giving Chas a pity start in CF with Framber on the mound will be wrong.

Not terrible. I would replace Yuli 295 OBP with Vasquez 357 OBP [DH] and play Mancini at [1B] to add 1.8 WAR to the lineup. Even though Vasquez played 9 games at 1B for Boston, his subpar defense there is worth the risk of losing the DH if something happens to Maldy.

Only change today's order from yesterday will be catcher. Let's see how Maldy does at bat, maybe he saw what everyone was doing yesterday and have a killer night.

I know your heart was in the right place, but I hope you were wrong.

Use Dubon as a late inning 7+ defensive replacement when we have a lead of >2 runs.

No problem with that. But that shouldn't mean we can't find a spot (DH) for Vasquez at the same time.

You going to sit Yordan or Mancini? Plus if Maldonado gets hurt, you lose the DH.

Why? Chas is a better center fielder than Dubon.

I'd say it is pretty close between those two regarding fielding. Chas is getting better with the Crawford boxes. I'd have no issues with Chas sliding to LF for either Meyers or Dubon to get a better defensive OF when up.

why? McCormick is a better center fielder than both Dubon and Meyers. Let one of those scrubs move over to left.
