Of course he'll always love his Braves, but cut him a little slack - He's one of the few national talking heads who is genuinely fair to us, and he has defended us at times, too.

In the Boston series. literally the week before, Joe Buck was going on and on and on about "2017, trash cans, etc" and then Smoltz chimed in to say "and nearly everyone else did the same thing but nobody said anything" or something like that. Personally, I strongly believe TV broadcasters should be neutral, but that also includes local broadcasts. Sorry I'm not a big fan of over-the-top homerism.
