On a slightly unrelated note, I would like to go on a little rant about the media's coverage of "The City of New Orleans Love Affair With the Saints."

THIS IS COMPLETE AND UTTER HORSE****. THE FANS OF NEW ORLEANS DID NOT GIVE A FLYING **** ABOUT THE SAINTS UNTIL THEY GOT GOOD. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST BUNCH OF BANDWAGON FANS IN THE ENTIRE NFL. STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT A FEELGOOD STORY BECAUSE OF HURRICANE KATRINA.

I LIVED IN AN AREA THAT GOT ITS LOCAL TELEVISION OUT OF LOUISIANA. MULTIPLE TIMES THE LOCAL FANS VOTED TO SHOW DALLAS COWBOYS GAMES INSTEAD OF THE SAINTS!!!!!!

Got to support a former Gator, Percy Harvin. I'm pulling for the Vikings.

I know you live in Arkansas, so I don't know if your local tv station was a new orleans station, but north lousiana is cowboy country, I don't think anyone would dispute that

No kidding. Shreveport is probably more Texas than it is Louisiana.

Then again, dallas isn't really a part of Texas either.

I'm also talking about how the fan and business support for the Saints has always been so low that the state government of Louisiana has had to financially subsidize the Saints to the tune of tens of million dollars per year.

I know the Saints don't hold a candle to LSU, but living in Houston for the last 20+ years, most people from Louisiana I know are Saints fans.

people that hate favre are asking for reasons to dislike the supposed storybook NO team

    1) i've heard about this damn "storybook" / "fairytale" BS for 4 years. Katrina is over. Katrina was a hurricane, not a football team. I understand the impact the Saints had on the city that year.... but it's OVER

    2) "who dat"

    3) "geaux"

    4) Reggie Bush (unless he plays like he did last week, in which case he will be a legitimate football player.. i won't like him, but i won't hate him)

i'll cheer for favre and ignore the media attention the way i do Bonds, Tiger, etc.

I'm rooting for the Saints, but watching them at the end of the season get exposed (Tampa) - i'm expecting a big win for the Vikings.

If it a shoot out then Saint wins but if Viking's defense can create couples of TO then Vikes will be in Dallas. Can't root against #4 fan since Packers day. Go Vikes.

I like the Saints more than the Vikings. I also have a bunch of friends and family from LA so I'm pulling for the Saints to take it... but the way the Vikings D line destroyed the Cowboys O line last week I have serious doubts. I do have more faith in Peyton calling a better game against the pressure than Garrett did last week so hopefully that will work in the Saints favor.

Gotta go with the Vikings. I've always like Favre and I like the fact that he's proved the doubters wrong this year. The Saints and the love affair with them is a little irritating but I'll root for them if they advance to the Super Bowl. Do not want the Jets are Colts to win...Do not want the Jets to advance. I think right now the Jets are my most despised team in the playoffs.

I'm pulling for the Vikes, but with home-field and all... Saints have the advantage.

This is more than enough to make me root for the Saints.

I'm not going to watch this game or the other horse **** game with Peyton's big ass wobbly peanut shaped head or Rex Ryan's huge ego (and body) which makes him the only NFL head coach who is visible from space. He probably wants the the Lombardi trophy so bad because he saw the Lamar Odom commercial and he thinks there's a secret stash of chips and guacamole in it.

I hate football.

I'm expecting an easy win for NO.

I put down $20 each for NO to win by a margin of:

    13-18pts $7
    19-24pts $11
    25-30pts $15
